The nobleness of man lies in the soul

The nobleness of man lies in the soul

The French thinker Pascal has a famous saying: "Man is a thoughtful reed." He means that human life is as fragile as reeds, and anything in the universe can kill people. However, even so, people are still much more noble than anything in the universe, because people have a soul that can think. Of course, we certainly cannot and should not deny the need for physical life. However, the nobleness of man lies in his life with a soul. As a person of the flesh, there is no distinction between high and low. Only as a soul, because of the huge difference in the inner world, talents are distinguished by dignity and despicableness.

Due to the pressure of the struggle for survival and the temptation of material interests, all of us have turned our eyes and energy into the outside world and no longer care about our inner world. The result is that the soul is shrinking and empty, leaving only the busy body in the world. For a person, there is nothing more tragic than this. I secretly wish each of us to maintain a pure pursuit, not to embark on this path of sadness.

In fact, the nobleness of man lies in the soul!
