Everyone is a king - "Four Thousand Miles Under the Sea"

The wind came from the east, slowly licking my face and bringing the breath of the sea. You said, is there a "Nautilus" swimming freely among the blue kingdoms?

Captain Nemo said: "I don't admit that there are any masters in the sea. I am completely free in the sea." If you have to say something about the master, it should be our own. Everyone is a king, and you can do whatever you want in your own world.

At the 2nd Paris World Expo in 1867, Verne first saw the submarine. Since then, a world-famous "two thousand miles under the sea" was born.

Captain Nemo can be said to be a genius. Together with a few like-minded comrades, he created the "Nautilus" and galloped the ocean.

He is polite and treats prisoners quite well. He took an underwater adventure with Professor Aronus, Connors and Ned, and showed them a completely strange world. Treat them, he is like their friend, a learned friend.

At the pearling field, he helped the poor pearl collector return to the land and gave him a large bag of pearls. He helped the fin whales to wrestle with the cunning sperm whale... His pity of heart was vividly expressed in these places, and Professor Aronus and others changed his opinion.

He is extremely advocating for freedom, and for this reason he does not even want to approach his so-called "dirty continent" step. However, this freedom is only based on the interests of small groups, and he also has his selfish side. As in the section "Water People", Captain Nemo said to Aronus and others: "You came to my boat and knew my secret. It was the secret of my life! You thought I would send you again. Going back to the land? It’s never possible! Now I want to leave you here, not for you, it’s for myself!”

Selfishness is never recognized whenever and wherever. At the World Expo, the exchanges of culture and science and technology in various countries also want to learn from some foreign cultures, to take their essence and make them rich and develop.

The various novels presented at the World Expo, like Captain Nemo, lead us to explore different fields. Even though the "Nautilus" sneaked into the seabed of 1,600 meters, the submarine's steel plate and thick glass were all bent, and he still chose to move forward.

Captain Nemo and Professor Aronus actually represent two different people, and the dialogue between them is very philosophical. No matter how others look at Captain Nemo, his longing for freedom and his spirit of exploration will always motivate me to move forward.
