As a child, the image of Communist Party members has always been unusually tall in my mind. Huang Jiguang, Dong Cunrui, Qiu Shaoyun, etc., the high image of the party and the people’s liberation cause during the revolutionary war, can still be said It’s vivid. In the university age, I began to realize that communist ideals are the most scientific, progressive, and beautiful ideals of human society, and the Communist Party is such a purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, in order to achieve national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people's happiness. The vanguard of the working class who has fulfilled the great ideal of communism. I feel that the Communist Party of China is a glorious collective. Party members are synonymous with a glorious title. Joining the party is a very glorious thing. After graduating from college, I became a member of the Taihu Water Resources Planning and Design Institute of Jiangsu Province. In the process of working with my colleagues, I feel that the Communists are suffering and enjoying the high winds and bright festivals all the time. My reverence for the party members is born, and the feelings of the party's simplicity are getting deeper and deeper. I began to dream of being one of them and trying to match them.

Through years of study, thinking and practice, especially the recent education activities to maintain the advanced nature of party members, I began to have a deeper thinking and understanding of "why join the party." I think, for me:

First of all, joining the party is a purification of the soul. I realize that the process of joining the party is essentially the process of knowing the party, loving the party, developing the party, and defending the party. There must be no selfish distractions, and no utilitarianism or hypocrisy. At the same time, for the individual, the formal entry into the party is only once, and the ideological party is a lifetime.

Second, joining the party is an improvement in consciousness. As a party member, he must always maintain a high degree of unity with the Party Central Committee in his thoughts and words and deeds, and unite, influence and drive the comrades around him through practical work and life. If the party members have something beyond ordinary people, I think that is a firm belief and a lofty consciousness.

Third, joining the party is a special kind of dedication. Building the party for the public and governing for the people, the party's aim is to serve the people wholeheartedly. Whether it is the anti-ice disaster relief at the beginning of the year or the earthquake relief in May, it turns out that at every important time and special moment, party members always charge ahead. Therefore, "the first people's worries and worries, after the people's happiness and joy" is the minimum character of each Communist Party member. Not counting individual gains and losses is the basic requirement for a qualified party member. To join the party is to be brave in dedication, willingness to give, to be willing to give, to reflect the value of life in dedication, and to safeguard and develop the interests of the people in dedication. Joining the party means losing more than the people. It also means more burdens than the people, and it means more sacrifices than the people.

Second, rethink "what to join the party." Serving the people wholeheartedly is the party’s sole purpose. I think this is also a big problem that every Communist Party member should focus on and solve when he "joins the party." Communist Party members must maintain their advanced nature and embody the important thinking of the 'Three Represents,' and must work hard to serve the people wholeheartedly. To this end, as a member of the Communist Party in the new era, we must truly serve the people wholeheartedly.

Third, further understanding "maintaining the advanced nature of party members." After years of education and training of the party, I realized that the greatest vitality of our party lies in her ability to adjust her tasks and directions well and to meet the needs of the people in accordance with the requirements of the times, and propose different periods and different The major policy of the stage, and effectively solve the practical problems in people's lives. The party members are the cells of the party, and the vitality of the party is reflected by the advanced nature of the party members. Therefore, in the new era of economic transition, social transformation, and institutional transformation, it is particularly important to maintain the advanced nature of party members. As far as I am concerned, to maintain the advanced nature, I feel that I have to do the following two aspects:

1. Have unwavering ideals and beliefs. As a probationary party member, it is necessary to implement the party's basic line, various guidelines and policies, and maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee in politics, ideology, and action. Adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts, advance with the times, and constantly enhance the consciousness and firmness of implementing the important thinking of the 'Three Represents.'
