Campus safety work summary
Enhance the awareness of teachers and students and create a safe environment for campus

Good morning, June 5, XX, teachers and students!
The theme of my speech under the flag today is: campus security . According to the relevant arrangements of the higher authorities, our school has designated this June as a safety education month.
In the summer, China’s niche swimming and drowning accidents entered a period of high incidence. The Ministry of Education, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Education Bureau of Haikou City issued an urgent notice respectively, requesting localities to effectively strengthen the education and management of the prevention of drowning and swimming safety in China's niche, emphasizing that Chinese students are not allowed to swim freely without the help of parents or teachers. Do not swim with your classmates and swim in the unsafe waters.
Every year, drowning accidents caused by swimming and splashing of young students occur frequently. The number of students who die in Surabaya ranks first among all types of accidental deaths. Most of these accidents occurred during the period from parental supervision and school teacher management.
Campus safety is closely related to each of our teachers and students. It is related to whether our students can grow up healthily and successfully complete their studies. It is related to whether our teachers can teach and educate people in a quiet and safe environment, and cultivate and create talents for the country. Therefore, campus security is the basis and premise for us to do all the work of the school. It is also one of the primary tasks of school education and it must be long-term and unremitting. In order to further improve the safety education work of our school, the following requirements are put forward. I hope that all classes and students will work hard.
First of all, our teachers and students must have a high degree of safety awareness and fully recognize the importance and urgency of safety work. Each class monitor should assist the class teacher to conduct a special inspection on various teaching facilities and electrical equipment in the classroom. If any hidden dangers are discovered, report to the General Affairs Office in time to prevent problems before they occur.
Second, pay attention to sports safety in all sports. Prepare activities before the physical education class and class activities. When exercising, be careful not to collide violently to avoid injury or falls. At the same time pay attention to the safety of lightning.
Third, pay attention to the safety of classrooms and dormitories. Students must leave the doors and windows when they leave the class, and they can't give the thieves a chance. Some students take the ball to the teaching building and kick in the classroom building. This behavior violates the school rules and exists. With great security risks, Imagine if the glass window is broken and the glass piece flies into the eyes of a classmate, the consequences are unimaginable. In the past few years, after the school was in charge of charging in the dormitory, the school has clearly stipulated that it is not possible to bring the charging lights to the dormitory. However, some students ignore the school rules and continue to bring them to the classroom or dormitory. There are serious safety hazards. Students who wish to have such violations should immediately correct them.
Fourth, pay attention to traffic safety. The number of students who are currently riding to school is gradually increasing. Cyclists must strictly abide by the traffic rules. In particular, the speed of the car on the intersection of Wenchang and the market is relatively fast. The ride must be careful to prevent accidents. Classmates of bus cars should pay attention to safety when getting on and off the road.
Fifth, there must be a sense of security in what you do. It is easy to be impulsive in adolescence, and it is easy to use emotions. Therefore, when encountering contradictions among classmates, be sure to be calm and rational, and avoid using fists instead of reasoning to bring bad consequences to yourself and your classmates. During the last semester and this semester, there was a fight between classmates. I hope that these students must reflect on their behaviors and consciously abide by the school rules and regulations, and they are worthy of the title of the school directly under the city.
In two months, 29 fresh lives in our province have died, and the painful lessons are a wake-up call for us to come. We should strictly manage and educate young people to cherish life and adopt strong security measures . At the same time, we hope that government departments should strengthen services and set up swimming safety warning signs, water depth warnings, etc. on riversides, lakesides, and ponds. In the swimming and drowning accidents, the establishment of swimming safety inspectors and duty supervisors; for parents, it should strengthen the guardian's sense of responsibility; to protect students' lives and safety, it is necessary to mobilize social forces, and each member of society should have one more "Heart of Mind", raising vigilance to guard the children around you.
Finally, I hope that through the activities of the Safety Education Month, a strong atmosphere of “everyone cares about campus safety ” will be formed throughout the school.
