"Pen Xian 2" South Korean famous director An Bingji's second Chinese horror movie

"Pen Xian 2" is the second Chinese-language thriller film by the famous Korean director An Bingji, who is known as the master of Asian terror and the hand of Midas. Following the success of An Bingji’s first Chinese work, "Pen Xian", in 2019, with the success of 60 million box office, An Bingji’s plan to create a thriller movie series in China in the form of a summer series, announced the opening of "Pen Xian 2" and invited After the South Korean horror, the famous actor Park Han-sing joined the starring role. Movie Synopsis:

"Pen Xian 2" tells a story of youthful thriller that happened on the university campus. Song Qian’s college friend Nana suddenly returned after studying in the United States for two years. Nana, who has always had a bad mental state, always chanted a name, and she was suicide in the year of graduation. This reminds Song Qian of a tragedy that occurred on campus two years ago.

Song Qian and Nana, Yang Lan, Hong Rui, You Feng, etc. are the buddies of the same society on campus. Because of the beautiful Xiao Ai joining, Hong Rui has a love for Xiao Ai. Nana, who has always secretly loved Hongrui, is unhappy with this, and she can’t go anywhere with Xiao Ai. At a party, everyone played with pens and spirits. Nana revealed the unfortunate life of Xiao Aier through “Pen Xian” and made Xiao Ai insulted. She jumped to the building and committed suicide. Song Qian witnessed it all.

After Nana came back, Song Qian remembered the friends who had not seen for 2 years. After contacting everyone, I found that everyone’s life has changed, not as smooth as I imagined when I graduated. Nana is convinced that Xiao Ai turned into a ghost and came back to revenge. Sure enough, several students suddenly died unexpectedly, and Song Qian and Nana were both scared and caught in a huge panic...

The film began shooting in March 2019 and was released in April. Director An Bingji said at the press conference that the story of "Pen Xian 2" is complicated. No matter the degree of suspense or horror, it will be unprecedented on China's big screen. The film will be released in the summer of July 2019.
