I have benefited from reading the book "Childhood". And Gorky than childhood, how happy we are today. Gorky was born in a woodworking family. When he was 5 years old, his father died. His life was even harder. He and his mother lived in the grandfather's house. Because of his family's poverty, he had to wear his mother's shoes, grandmother's coat, yellow clothes and patch pants. Gorky’s uncoordinated attire caused ridicule from the students. Compared with Gorky, we are all wearing our own new clothes. I can’t help but feel awkward. Although we have such good conditions, we are born in the blessings and do not know how to be blessed. They often pick and choose, and some clothes are not willing to wear them for a long time. In order to go to school, Gorky had to pay for garbage. Every time he didn't go to school, he got up early, carrying a big bag, walking down the street, smashing some rags and rotten papers and selling them to the waste processing factory. If you are lucky, you will have half a ruble's income. If you are not lucky, Gorky's schooling will not be settled. Think about us again, we don’t have to worry about anything now, we have to wear clothes to reach out and have a good day to open our mouth. In contrast, what reason do we not cherish our happy life, what reason is not good to learn? The money exchanged for rubbish became the source of Gorky’s tuition, but the children of the wealthy in the school did not understand Gorky’s behavior. Instead, they laughed at him and said that he had a smell on his body. I don’t think Gorky’s body is stinky. Taste, but the children of the rich have deliberately mocked Gorky, they are stinking. Gorky turned the ridicule of others into a motivation to urge himself to study hard. He worked hard, studied hard, and finally achieved excellent results, which was loved and respected by the students. I meditate with the book, not only my thoughts. How happy and how extravagant we are compared to Gorky's childhood. We should learn from Gorky, no matter how bad the environment is, we must study hard, work hard, and keep moving forward towards a better future.
