Complaint trap

Three days later, the hospital received a report from the “Guide to the Doctor”, saying that Lan Yuefeng had pushed many patients. Why did the Mianyang People's Hospital impose such heavy penalties on Lan Yuefeng on several suspicious patient complaints?

Soon after, Lan Yuefeng asked a vice president to reflect the matter. The other party apparently stood on the side of the clinical department. After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the People’s Hospital and the health department made great efforts, and the hospital received tens of millions of yuan for post-disaster aid construction. Among them, a donation of 9 million yuan from the Macau government was used to purchase medical equipment.

However, about two weeks after receiving the notice of the investigation, Lan received a notice from the leader of the hospital, telling her that the situation has changed, so that it should not be re-managed.

In March 2019, the new equipment of the ultrasound department was in place, and the financial staff took three invoices to sign Lan Yuefeng. Lan Yuefeng recalled: "After I signed one, I noticed that the invoice price column was blank. Let it be taken back. There has never been such a thing before."

Lan Yuefeng later saw the color ultrasound machine. According to her, this is a “warehouse old model”. She contacted the dealer of the same equipment five years ago. The price of the consultation was about 1.6 million yuan.

On a publicity material prepared by the People's Hospital and the Mianyang Women's Federation and other units, the People's Hospital purchased the 730 color ultrasound with the aid of Macao. The Southern Weekend reporter also noticed that the “four-dimensional color ultrasound” machine on the propaganda materials of the People’s Hospital was quite different from the color ultrasound machine actually used by the department. Due to doubts about the equipment, Lan Yuefeng later refused to sign the delivery receipt.
