"Low-carbon action, start with me" proposal
Dear teachers, dear students:
June 5th is World Environment Day. The theme of this year's Environment Day is: low carbon emission reduction, green living. Call on the public to start from me, promote pollution reduction, practice green living, and contribute to building an ecological civilization and building an environment-friendly society.
“Low-carbon life” means that the energy used in daily life and work should be reduced as much as possible to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. “Low-carbon” is a habit of living, a natural habit to save resources around you.
Therefore, the Group of Small and First Groups in the Fourth Country of Bincheng District issued the initiative of “Low-carbon life, starting from me”.
All teachers and students are encouraged to do:
First, cherish every drop of water. Bring your own water bottle, drink less bottled water and try to save tap water. Rational use of water resources.
Second, save every kilowatt. When natural light is good, use lighting fixtures as little as possible. It is necessary to turn off the electrical equipment such as electric lights, computers, televisions, etc., so that people can stop using electricity.
Third, save every piece of paper. Promote double-sided printing, double-sided paper; use the clean waste paper in the home to make draft paper, reduce paper consumption.
Fourth, love the flowers and trees. Do not pick, do not trample a flower, grass and wood; do not litter waste, pick up the garbage, maintain the green campus environment.
5. Use less or no plastic bags, and try not to use disposable items such as wooden chopsticks, paper cups, and paper towels.
Sixth, drive less, ride more bicycles; take less elevators, climb more stairs; less air conditioners, contribute to energy saving and emission reduction.
7. Get close to nature, participate in afforestation activities, and raise a few pots of flowers in the classroom and at home.
Eight, carry forward diligence and save traditional virtues. Eliminate waste.
An initiative, a commitment, a responsibility. Dear teachers, dear students, let all our teachers and students take action immediately, starting from now and starting from small things around us. We will create a good atmosphere for everyone to talk about energy conservation and everyone to reduce emissions, and strive to build a resource-saving and environment-friendly campus to contribute to the harmonious development of the whole society!
