Violent "civilization"

Reading "The Letter from the British and French Forces Expedition to China to Captain Butler", a letter to Mr. Hugo

Dear Mr. Hugo:

Hello! You are a famous writer in the world. Although I am neither a great writer nor a poet, writer or writer. But I am writing this letter to you on the stand of a human being and a middle school student. Indeed, I can only use my poor words to describe my inner thoughts.
