As a member of the Science and Technology Department of the Student Union, I have not been able to make a breakthrough in the science and technology of the class. On June 8, 2019, the first party branch of our electrical school students carried out the activity of “finding the gap and thinking about development”. This is the first time I have participated in this type of party membership activity, and I have felt a lot from it.

This is definitely a matter of seeking truth from facts and opening up a happy exchange meeting. Everyone is very frank about their shortcomings and deficiencies. Other students help analyze the causes of the problems and give sincere advice.

From this "seeking the gap, thinking about development" activities, I found my own shortcomings and shortcomings by comparing with the people around me.

1. The attitude towards learning. Although the results are still satisfactory, I feel that my attitude towards learning is not very correct. On the evening of June 8th, at the "Looking for the gap, thinking about development" activities, I listened carefully to the speech of a school sister. She said that she had taken a test of luck because she had an activity, and she suffered a big loss. It really resonated at the time, because I used to be on the most important exam because of similar activities and similar psychology. But I did not seriously summarize the sister, but blamed the responsibility for failure. So I have to be down-to-earth in dealing with anything in the future, because success is only reserved for those who are prepared!

2. After entering the sophomore year, I found that the enthusiasm for dealing with things dropped a lot. The meeting felt that it was a waste of time, and things that I did did not want to do it. Even my favorite basketball was greatly reduced in interest. I used to boil down to spending time on the flower. But looking back, in fact, I did not have a good grasp of those times. When I contacted a party member who received a national scholarship, I suddenly felt how narrow my thoughts were! He has invested a lot of enthusiasm in his work and study. He spent 120% of the effort in the place where I thought it would take time. He also spent 100% of the effort in places where I thought it should not take time. He has achieved success. Therefore, in the future, I must change this narrow thinking. I want to find the kind of enthusiasm for learning, work, and life. The so-called existence is reasonable, and everything must have its value. Only by doing things well can we succeed!

3. I feel that my psychological endurance is not strong, and I lack a strong heart. Perhaps it is because the past is still relatively smooth, so in the face of setbacks, can not be positive and tough to face. If you don't want to be far away, think about educating my grandfather from time to time. He is also an old party member. Hearing that when they were the hardest in the war, they were chased by the enemy, hiding in the mountains and fighting for half a month, relying on wild fruits to maintain their lives. And now our life is still good, but we can't accept the baptism of difficulties, and we are a bit embarrassed in the face of difficulties. Therefore, I believe that the "finding the gap and thinking about development" activity within the party is a good platform. It gives me the opportunity to understand my shortcomings and accept criticism from others. I really look forward to participating in this kind of activity, to understand my own deficiencies through the vision of others, to exercise my anti-strike ability, so that I can be more tough in the future!
