Reading "Gulliver's Travels"

Gulliver’s three-character word is not a big deal at first glance, but when I read this Gulliver’s Travels, I don’t think this person is any longer.

The first stop of this book is Liren Puli. The small country is indeed small, and Gulliver can drag their entire naval fleet with one hand. Generally speaking, this is a twelfth of a miniature country. The author patiently described how many chickens, ducks, cattle and sheep, how many barrels of wine, and so on, and repeatedly reminded readers to keep this ratio in mind. For example, in order to transport his behemoth to the capital, the nationals of the Xiaorenguo used 500 craftsmen to build a wooden frame seven feet long, four feet wide and twenty-two wheels: but the main difficulty is Lift the author into the car. To achieve this, they erected eighty-one-foot-high columns. Workers tied the author's neck, hands, feet, and body with straps; then tied the thick ropes used by the authors to bind the items, and tied them to the pulleys at the top of the wooden post. Hundreds of great men moved the ropes together, and in less than three hours, they carried him on the carriage... The 15,000 tall horses were four feet tall and dragged me to the capital...

In such a small toy world, all the ambitions and invitations, political struggles, and warfare are not obvious. And our huge ancient China with 5,000 years of history, if we can also bring together the ambitions of the people of the whole country, I think this time, our country is already a powerful country in the world.

Then Gulliver came to the Great Man State. His dialogue with the King of the Great King not only constituted criticism of the British, but also showed two different ideas and made them comment on each other. The irony of Gulliver's Travels tells the status quo and also constitutes a simulation and sarcasm for certain languages. This is why I like this book.

This more humane Gulliver brings the novel to another level of irony: suspicion of human nature.

The two scale conversions have played a negative role. When it came to the Great Man, this became very clear - because Gulliver himself became a "little man": he used his few pitiful little gold coins to please the giants there; Show his bravery; he and the queen's favorite gnomes are in conflict and struggle. But his actions to please the protector are a last resort - because he may be hurt by any external force at any time.

Thus, criticism of the current state of society has turned into doubts about universal humanity. An in-depth review of the "money" is a real example.

In Volume 4, Gulliver came to the Malaysian country without money and without the army police, in order to let his wise men understand why people would go back and deceive robbery, murder and arson. This is the key to this book.

In short, this book brings us this kind of comment and satire on a country, and let me like it.
