"Childhood" after reading

"Childhood" is a literary masterpiece worthy of future generations. It tells the sad life of Gorky in his childhood.

In the book, Aliosha’s childhood was dark. Some things even he could not believe: he lost his father at the age of four, followed his mother and grandmother to the tyrannical grandfather, but he was often beaten by his grandfather. But the kind grandmother is protecting him everywhere. The simple Ivan used his arm to block his grandfather's whip on Aliosha, although he would be swollen. But he was strong and was crushed to death by the cross.

When I first read this book, I was sad and sad for Gorky, and even wanted to lick the hot whip for him; when I read it again, I felt the selfishness of the adults and the tolerance and love of the old grandmother. A sharp contrast was formed; when I opened the book again, I deeply realized the hardships and difficulties of the life of the Soviet people who were in the war. In this environment, people become selfish and greedy.

This kind of good and evil, love and hate in real life has long left a mark on Gorky's young mind.

Gorky can grow up in such an environment and become a generation of writers, not only because he still protects his grandmother in this environment, but also thanks to Gorky's own unyielding spirit and optimistic attitude.
