Unforgettable flag raising ceremony

Last Friday, I received a notice from the school team that I was so ecstatic - at the flag-raising ceremony on Monday, I showed my talents to the teachers and students of the school. This time, the talent that I want to show is the "Song of Asian Countries." When I got home, I rehearsed the show over and over again after I finished my homework. I asked my mother to help me identify the shortcomings and correct them in time so that I could have a perfect presentation at the flag-raising ceremony on Monday.

Finally, I am looking forward to Monday. I wore neat school uniforms and bright red scarves. I came to the school’s Yulin Hall early to wait for the start of the flag-raising ceremony.

At this time, the school broadcasted a cheerful music, the students heard the music went downstairs to the playground, standing upright in class. The host announced: "The flag-raising ceremony is now starting. First, carry out the first item - raise the national flag and play the national anthem!" The bright five-star red flag rises in the majestic national anthem, and the students line the flag of the Young Pioneers. Then, President Ma and President Liu presented medals and certificates to classmates who demonstrated their behavioral habits and those who won the “Art Festival”. The representatives of the “excellent demonstration students” of all grades gave wonderful speeches.

Just as I waited patiently in the background, I heard the host said: "Below, please enjoy the talent show brought to us by Zhai Zicong." So, I strode to the stage in front of the stage, first to the teachers and classmates. After a standard team ceremony, then, take a deep breath and start the performance with a loud voice: "The Song of Asian Countries - China, Japan and North Korea, Mongolia, Singapore, Vietnam..." I took 48 Asians in one breath. The name of the country did not fall, and the actions of the respective country names were completely and unspeaked. When the performance ended, there was a warm applause from the audience. I took a deep bow and thanked everyone and turned around. I saw President Liu’s face showing a kind smile on my face.

At this time, the host announced: "The flag-raising ceremony is over, please bring back the classes."

I also returned to the classroom with excitement and began to meet the new week's learning tasks with full spirit.
