A Summary of the 2019 Teacher Classroom Seminar


Studying the thoughts of famous teachers and promoting high-quality teaching resources-------- Study experience in Changsha

Last Friday, I and Liu Min, Tian Huiling, and Liu Xuemei attended the “Chinese Classroom Teaching Seminar” in Changsha. Fortunately, we met Qian Minglong, Cheng Hongbing, and Han Jun, who are well-known in the Chinese language industry. They are all from the first line of teaching. Their lectures have both a summary of their life experiences and a reflection on contemporary Chinese education. After listening to the lecture, we gained a lot and felt a lot.

As for the language classroom teaching, I have already reported to the language teachers in the language group. I will not delay the teachers’ time here. What I want to say here is to talk about the views of our Chinese teachers based on the essence of expert thinking and the reality of our school.

First of all, I will report the experts' ideas to the teachers. Experts have mentioned the status quo of middle school language, and believe that the language classroom is deep, detailed, thorough, and complete. The final result is less, slower, worse, and more expensive. From the time when the national small school has the ability to read, to the high school graduation, the literary books that students have come into contact with are far less than the vast world of literature. Therefore, experts advocate "improving the efficiency of classroom teaching." Ask us to complete a thousand-character lesson, and read it well, and read it out. Otherwise, it is the practice of misunderstanding. So what is the time saved to do? Used to allow students to do a lot of extracurricular reading. They say that language learning , accumulation is always more important than understanding, learning a language will never have a shortcut, and must use the most stupid way to receive real efficiency.

Let's take a look at the language requirements of the "Syllabus". In the "Chinese Curriculum Standards" formulated by the Ministry of Education in XX, students are required to read a wide range of reading materials. The amount of extracurricular reading is 2.6 million words, and high school students are up to 400. Four thousand characters, each year students read two or three famous books. The new entrance exam puts higher demands on reading, not only reading the skill but also putting higher demands on the speed. Online can be found, Jiangxi Province, the new joint test scores will increase to 70 points, Hunan New Union test scores will also increase to 60 points. These messages have not been confirmed, nor are they official archives, but it indicates the trend of language teaching. Therefore, the experts are shouting "Students should read more books"!

From the perspective of human development, people need to learn music and literature, so that talents are more aura and more intelligent. Reading is accompanied by a person's life. People who are more touched with elegance will stay away from the vulgarity. Reading can change a person's life, which is by no means an expert alarmist statement.

When is the best time for students to study? In the national hour, the students' cognitive level is not enough, and the middle school period is the best time for students to study. However, according to the teachers and classmates, some of our teachers, especially the teacher of the class teacher, saw the students read the extracurricular readings during class, and even threatened to smash it. Teacher, why? In fact, the teachers of the school know that the teachers all know that to improve their reading ability, they must read more. To write a good essay, they must read more. The teachers are also responsible for doing this. But experts can say "no matter how high-level theory, no matter what kind of norms, we must obey the interests of serving students." The ideas of experts may be a bit extreme, but it is absolutely not extreme in promoting reading accumulation!

Teachers, improve classroom efficiency and truly return time to students. I am here to ask the teachers to allow students to read literary books during breaks, but must exclude romance, martial arts, online novels and some anime books. What we advocate is to read literary classics, and ask the class teacher and teachers to supervise and manage. If our language teachers can't get the cooperation of the teachers, we can't get rid of the last scene, maybe we will become the sinners of the students. Our language teacher will formulate reading plans for students and correctly guide students to read extracurricularly.
