German early childhood education

When you arrive in Germany, you can't see the advertisements of overwhelming education companies and tutoring students. However, Germany's education standards are among the best in the world, especially its vocational education and quality education.

There are rules here that make me feel very strange: Article 7 (6) of the Basic Law of Germany clearly stipulates that the establishment of pre-schools is prohibited. That is to say, before the children go to the country, no one can perform so-called preschool education on children, such as dancing, gymnastics, reading, painting, piano, foreign languages, Olympic numbers, etc. are prohibited.

So what do children in front of the country learn in kindergarten? According to the summary of the German economic policy research expert Yang Peichang, it is roughly as follows: First, basic social common sense, such as not allowing violence, not talking loudly; Second, the child's hands-on ability, let them take the initiative to do specific things from an early age Third, cultivate children's emotional intelligence, especially leadership.

The German national students do not have any homework burden. The children only have a half-day class, and they attend classes in the morning. The afternoon is mainly based on their own hobbies. They are non-mandatory and can learn piano, painting, handicraft and sports. The general view of the German education community: If the so-called knowledge is forcibly taught too early, the children are not mature in all aspects, have no speculative ability, and finally become endorsed and reading machines.

Germany has a population of 88 million, but there are more than 300 public universities. Anyone can go to university in Germany, because Germany does not have a joint entrance exam. Only the application and recommendation system can go to college through the application, and the German university does not need to pay tuition fees. Such benefits also benefit foreign students. In Germany, teachers and parents do not keep a close eye on famous universities.

In the third and high school, schools, parents, and students will develop further education according to their own development needs. In this way, some students will enter the technical training school and the vocational and technical college. There is a very crucial point here: the treatment of graduates from technical schools will not be lower than that of elite schools, and at least there will be no discriminatory employment system. Therefore, children do not need to go to a good university to find a good job and get a good income, which is the root of the best vocational education in Germany.

Another part of the students may go to a prestigious school for further study. However, being able to enter university does not mean that anyone can successfully get a university degree. It is absolutely impossible to have a diploma in Germany. You can only graduate if you are honest and hardworking. Someone who had been engaged in publishing wanted to introduce German university textbooks. Later, when they inquired, they learned that German universities simply did not have any unified university textbooks.

Teach your university teacher, in the first lesson of the school, publish a lot of reference books for the subject, and the content of the exam is also included. As for what the professor teaches, it is the freedom and power of the professor. The professor only needs to follow his own major. The background and the ethics can be done. If you don't read the reference books carefully, you can't finish the exam. Don't expect any review outline before the exam.

In addition to telling you the reference book, the teacher also teaches you how to think in terms of learning. Thinking independently is an important way to gain knowledge. The German nation has always been known for its rationality, pragmatism and logic. I think it is probably cultivated through such educational concepts and systems.
