Committee meeting



The committee refers to the specialized organizations established by each unit to complete certain tasks.
As a secretary, it is very important to be familiar with the committee's program. The local government operates according to the structure of the committee, and the standing committee is responsible for its own affairs. The production of the committee members will be either designated or selected according to the situation, or even combined in two ways. For example, when setting up a committee for consultation purposes, managers are assigned because they have specialized skills and positions in the organization. Worker representatives are elected by the workers. The difference between committees is that they have their own authority. Some committees have executive powers, especially in local governments.
1. Executive Committee:
The Executive Committee can actually manage an organization and prioritize its decisions and organizational actions. The board of a limited company is an executive committee.
2. The Standing Committee:
The Standing Committee should pay close attention to the details of the policy for a long time and resolve issues that arise periodically, such as finance. In the local council, day-to-day work is handled by the Standing Committee. Such committees will exercise their priority within the framework of their empowerment and ultimately report to the Executive Committee.
3. Advisory Board:
The advisory committee's responsibility is to make recommendations to the Executive Committee, which has the right to form a subcommittee that reports directly to the superior and reflects the recommendations of the subcommittee to the Executive Committee.
4. Subcommittee:
If the license is in place, the higher level committee can designate a subcommittee among its members to study and discuss specific matters. Such a subcommittee can also form a standing committee. If it can alleviate the standing work of the superior committee, it can also form an ad hoc committee to conduct a special investigation. However, neither of the subsidiary committees has the right to take action unless it reports to the superior committee and obtains consent.
5. Ad hoc committee:
The ad hoc committee exists only for a specific purpose. It is literally understood that ad hoc means "for this" or "for this purpose". For example, planning a special work item or special investigation. Such committees exist for a relatively short period of time and were dissolved after the completion of the work.
6. Consultation Committee:
The role of the Consultative Committee is broad and, in summary, is to promote communication and give workers the basis for policy making and management decisions. The purpose of its meeting is to exchange ideas, solve problems, express different opinions, and eliminate misunderstandings and planning prospects. Such meetings are constructive, but they can lead to confrontation and stalemate. This requires a meeting when some issues can be agreed.
7. The regular committee has a wide range of coverage and is often given other names. Such as general manager meetings, board meetings, etc., and need to prepare in advance. They are also a standing meeting, not just a temporary role. As a result, these meetings tend to consider typical business issues, but also deal with some temporary issues.
8. The Special Committee discussed that it is somewhat similar to a temporary meeting, although it often has more established issues to consider, such as the agenda and meeting preparation time. Such meetings tend to be informal, but they may be fruitful.
