The water of these rivers rushes down from the mountains, and the white waves are splashing like a rolling dragon. Due to the water, these rivers are especially suitable for rafting, so they have become a paradise for drifters.
In July of this year, I went to Canada, just after the rainy season, the river was full. I am a person who likes outdoor sports, so I made a few friends and everyone went to drift. We found a drifting company from the advertisement three days in advance and called for a half-day rafting. The other party asked for the money to be paid in advance. I asked if the emergency could not go or the day it rained. The other party said that no matter whether you come or not, the money can't be retired. Let us think about it. I thought about it and thought that there should be no urgent matter, and the weather forecast also said that it was a good day, it should not rain, so I booked it with confidence.
Unexpectedly, on the day, God suddenly changed his face. It started to rain in the morning, and it kept going. The weather in Canada is very cold when it rains, and the drifting will wet the clothes, which makes me can't help but think: I will be too cold to accept it. So I began to hesitate and called the other party and asked if they could cancel the reservation or postpone a few days for humanitarian reasons. The other party's tone is very gentle but also very firm. "Our drifting is rain or shine. If you come or not, we are all ready for you to drift, so you better come over, drifting in the rain is also very interesting. "Let's put down the phone, I know that there is no retreat, plus the money that I have been reluctant to pay, I have to take the rain and drive for an hour and a half to the drifting company on the edge of Chilliwack River.
The result was unexpectedly good. The Chilliwack River is a rushing water, full of torrents, and a great place to drift. At the beginning of the drifting, we were shivering coldly, especially when we passed the shoal. The whirlpool poured over the water and poured it over, so that we were soaked. But we were busy all the way, avoiding danger, and soon forgot the cold. Since it was soaked, it didn't matter if it didn't rain under the sky. Everyone drifted all the way, and later they smashed each other. The canyon echoed our laughter and screams, and the three-hour drifting did not know. It’s over without knowing it.
When I drifted down, the sky was fine, and my mood was even more cheerful. I think, if it is not the drifting company's "wind and rain", I will probably retreat in the rain, if you shrink back, there will be no such a wonderful drifting experience. Therefore, the success of many things lies in persistence. If you insist, others will give in. The drifting company insisted, I gave in, and the last two sides were happy. The reason why I just started to shrink is because I think too much about the difficult side. If you have more difficulties, you will be struggling. So, if you have decided to do something, then don't think about any difficulties you will encounter. Just stick to it, so you will often get an unexpectedly good result.
I finally know what it means to be "rainless"!
