The People’s Police is a glorious and enviable career. When a people’s policeman is my wish for many years, now I officially became a people’s policeman. I am very honored by my long-cherished wish. The organization’s trust in me will be the driving force for me to work hard and work hard. I will do my utmost to fulfill my duties conscientiously, and in accordance with the demands and hopes put forward by the leaders of the Municipal Party Committee when I talk to me, I will work hard to do a good job in the city's public security work and live up to the trust of the municipal party committee and the people of the whole region.
Comrade XXX has served as the director for five years. It is precisely the complicated social situation, the tremendous changes in the economic and social life of the whole region, the deepening of various reforms, the increasing adjustment of various interests, the increasing social conflicts, and the maintenance of social stability. Five years of great stress. The municipal party committee and the municipal government also put forward the goals and tasks of accelerating the comprehensive construction of a well-off society and basically realizing modernization at an early date. The conference has planned a grand blueprint for the development of public security in the next five years. Facing the new century, facing the new stage and facing new goals and tasks, the public security work shoulders a more important and arduous historical mission. Faced with the complicated international situation and the social security situation, the public security work also faces many new challenges. We must further improve the understanding of the important position and role of public security work in the new era from the principles of politics, general situation, and stability, and further enhance the sense of responsibility, mission, and urgency of all public security police, and earnestly practice the "three represents." The important thinking is to keep pace with the times, to innovate and work hard, to maintain and develop the current good development momentum of the city's public security work, and to resolutely and satisfactorily complete the historical mission entrusted to us by the party and the people.
Public security is a noble cause. Today, I am able to become a public security policeman, and feel glorious from the heart. From the exchange of an administrative cadre to the work of the Public Security Bureau, for me, the field is new, the span is large, and the pressure is not small. Because I am not familiar with the business of public security work, I am not familiar with the personnel of the public security organs. It can be said to be a blank piece of paper. At the same time, in the past five years, all the police officers with XXX Comrades as the director have laid a good foundation for the public security work of XX. Therefore, the starting point and requirements for this appointment are even higher, and the pressure is very great.
I am fully aware of the responsibility of this position, and I know that there is still a big gap between my ability and level and the requirements of this position. However, I also firmly believe that I will love this work and I will cherish this position very much. Under the leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, I will learn from my comrades with humility, relying closely on the members of the Party Committee and relying on all the comrades in this Council. We work hard, forge ahead, work hard, and bring good teams.
