Anji, located in the mountainous area of ​​northern Zhejiang, is known as "Chinese Bamboo Township". On June 5th, on the occasion of World Environment Day, the national eco-city was listed for the first time. The only "national ecological county" has fallen to Anji. Our social practice has been opened in the country's first ecological county.

On the first afternoon of the symposium with the Anji County Youth League Committee, Director Xu introduced the situation before the establishment of the ecological county, let us know more about the history of Anji. During the meeting, our instructors put forward many feasible suggestions for the development of Anji. We also raised a lot of questions and the two sides had a good exchange.

On the second day, I went to the Wu Changshuo Memorial Hall to learn about the local cultural sites. At the same time, I went to the community to do a questionnaire on the ecological concept of the residents, and to understand the residents' ecological awareness from the side. We found that most of the local residents have a good sense of ecological and environmental protection.

In the following days, we conducted field investigations and studies on Longwangshan, Zhongnanbai Grassland, Xilong Township, Zhuboyuan and Tianhuangping to understand the local species diversity and ecological balance. According to statistics, in the past five years, the county's forest coverage rate and vegetation coverage rate have increased by 2 and 3 percentage points respectively, reaching 71% and 75%. The air quality has remained at the first level, and most of the water quality has been classified into two or more categories. District" won the "China Habitat Environment Model Award".

We visited the local sewage treatment system, which was a large artificial wetland. We used to see an old uncle weeding. When we asked about the problem of sewage treatment, he told us that the sewage flowed through the wetland and was flown in by the biofilm-containing water pipe. The structure of the wetland is divided into large pebbles, small pebbles, wool yarns and plants with deep water roots. After treatment, the water quality changes from turbidity to clearness, and the effluent can meet environmental protection requirements and can be discharged to the outside. We saw that the covered vegetation was clearly stratified, the plants growing under untreated water were lush, and the treated plants growing under water appeared to be yellow. The old uncle said that he was just a farmer. I can't help but admire that he can express the sewage treatment system so clearly and let us accept it. This shows that the ecological concept of protecting the environment has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. It is no wonder that Anji was rated as the first ecological in the country.
