How to turn meeting reports into meeting news
In order to solve the conference news problem that the video conference report is not popular with the audience, the conference report will be turned into conference news and become good conference news. It is not enough for journalists to have correct thinking and high business skills and unique performance methods. Attention should also be paid to resolving the relevant leaders’ understanding issues and dealing with various aspects. According to the practical experience of some TV stations and TV journalists, I believe that at least the following three aspects should be resolved.
First, we must deal with the contradiction between the leadership awareness of the leadership and the journalist's news consciousness.
Under normal circumstances, some leaders are more aware of the meeting. Most of them think about the practical value of the meeting in real life, because they want to carry out a certain work through the general deployment of the meeting and mobilizing the people. Therefore, they hope that the more comprehensive the report will be, the finer the better. The reporters consider and structure their conference reports from the size of the news value, and strive to make the conference report into conference news. This often contradicts the requirements of the leadership. Under this circumstance, some journalists learned the lesson of "working for the East, exhausting and not working." Therefore, they interviewed the report meeting according to the leadership awareness of the meeting. As a result, the conference report was modeled, and the old faces, except for the content, were similar in structure and picture. Over time, the audience will be lost and the publicity effect will be reduced. To resolve this contradiction, I believe that at least the following two methods should be adopted: First, explain to the leaders their own reporting ideas, explain the valuable conference news to win the audience, expand the propaganda effect, and seek the understanding and support of the leaders. The second is to win the leadership's approval with the good news and the response from the audience. Whether these two can work, it depends on the reporter's ability.
Second, we must deal with the contradiction between the leadership's relationship awareness and the reporter's quality awareness.
Leaders often send reporters to report on industry or departmental meetings that should not be reported for the needs of all aspects of work and interaction. In this way, the leaders have asked for reports from the perspective of doing a good job of communication, and the reporters insist on the contradiction of the law according to the law from the perspective of ensuring the quality of the news. In fact, this contradiction is not difficult to solve, because the leaders of the news units are not laymen for news reports. They know the rules of the news. They also hope that the reporters will take good news of the conference and hope to improve the quality of the news programs. However, from past practice, many journalists do not pay attention to solving this contradiction. They passively accepted the tasks assigned by the leaders, took several sets of pictures, wrote the texts of the hundred and eight crosses, and easily completed the task. Because of the will of the unit's leadership, the editor is helpless. As a result, low-quality conference reports often appear on the screen. Speaking of the reasons for this problem, many people put their responsibilities on the leadership. They think that there will be no such report when the leader does not send a reporter. I think that the main responsibility is not to lead, but to be a reporter. Because the main reason for this problem is not who arranges the task, but whether the reporter has a sense of mission, and can work hard to dig out the conference news. Obviously, it is impossible for such a conference book to have much news value, and the report will definitely not be of high quality. Therefore, it is more necessary for reporters to make greater efforts and work hard to find something of news value. Use the existing picture material to express the content of the news; or jump out of the meeting to take a typical picture, with a typical meeting, point to the end.
In short, as long as the treatment is good, it will be satisfied with the leadership of the unit in the premise of the quality of the news of the spot meeting, the meeting organizer is satisfied, and the audience is satisfied.
Third, we must deal with the contradiction between the leadership's work consciousness and the reporter's quality consciousness.
Most local and municipal TV stations have limited equipment and personnel, especially the Department of Public Information, which is responsible for news reporting tasks. Equipment and personnel are even more nervous. Leaders, in order to cope with interview tasks, when scheduling journalists' work, work consciousness often dominates. Sometimes, a reporter is assigned several meetings and interviews a day, so that the reporters are in a state of chaos and are in a state of coping with tasks. To resolve this contradiction, on the one hand, the leader must overcome the simple work consciousness, enhance the quality of the electric knowledge, and create more conditions for the reporter to interview the boutique, and provide convenience. On the other hand, the reporters themselves should enhance their time concept, improve their business ability, win time with efficient and high-quality work, and have the initiative in time to complete the task assigned by the leadership while still turning the quality consciousness into a mining The action of the conference news boutique can make good conference news. Why do some TV reporters, especially TV and political education journalists, have been busy all the time in the year, and the film has been filmed a lot, but when they are outstanding in TV news, they can't get anything decent. The reason is not that they do not have a sense of quality, but that their business capabilities are not high, their work efficiency is too low, and they lack professionalism. Therefore, in the same time, they can barely complete the tasks assigned by the leaders, and they are unable to turn their own quality consciousness into an action of collecting fine products, let alone excavating fine works from the conference.
