Money is not omnipotent - "Million pounds" after reading

Recently, I read a book called Million Pounds. After reading, the biggest feeling is that money is not omnipotent.

"Millions of pounds" tells the story of an American poor boy in London. Two rich men in London bet: Give a poor man a million bills that cannot be cashed, and see if he will be arrested within a month. Soon, one month later, Henry was not only arrested and imprisoned, but also had a family and lived a life of family.

After reading this book, I think the clothes shop owner and all kinds of other bosses in the book are very ridiculous: just because a person has a million banknotes and still can't cash, the bosses serve Henry free of charge. But I think: If I am the boss, then I will refuse to serve him. Because the million bills are not honorable. The bosses served him, but he couldn't get anything. Is it just to look at his dismissive expression and his million-dollar bill that can be said to be "what is worth?" I don't think it is worth it. Because I feel that it is necessary to pay for others to some extent.

Think about it in turn, the socialism at that time was money worship, all people worshiped money, and all people loved money like magic.

A friend of mine recently told me that money is not a panacea, but no money is impossible. I think, isn't it! What do you need now? My family has recently been working on a certificate about the hukou problem and has to return to my hometown. The fare will be six or seven hundred. I have to ask someone to eat. If I have finished eating, I still have to buy it. It takes a few thousand to get a document!

From this story, I understand: in real life, you should not look too heavy on money. Sometimes money can buy something that you like and love. But sometimes money can't buy the basic morality of being a human being, and you can't buy time.

Money worship is shameful, but people who wait for the pie in the sky should not, money is not omnipotent, there are many more valuable and more important substances in the world than money.
