Halloween event

On October 31 of each year, it is - Halloween. "Halloween", also known as "Ghost Festival", makes people feel like a "creepy" feeling. It is a traditional festival in the English-speaking world and is mainly popular in North America, the British Isles, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

The theme of Halloween is ghosts, scary, and things related to death, magic, and monsters. Common things that are associated with Halloween are ghosts, ghouls, witches, bats, black cats, owls, elves, zombies, skeletons, and demons, as well as fictional characters such as vampires and Frankenstein.

I heard that on the day of Halloween, the children couldn’t wait to wear colorful costumes, wear strange masks, and collect candy from house to house. The main activity of Halloween is "no messy sugar." The children dressed up in various horror-like manners, door-to-door, ringing the neighbor's doorbell, shouting: "If you don't ask for a mess," the host will come up with some candy, chocolate or a small gift. Some families even use sound effects and smoking machines to create a climate of terror. The candy that the child gets for one night is often calculated in bags, and the whole bag is moved home.

Not only that, but the pumpkin, it looks so cute and beautiful.

The pumpkin is orange, so the orange color has become a traditional Halloween color. Pumpkin lanterns carved with pumpkins is also a Halloween tradition, and its history can be traced back to Ireland. Legend has it that a man named Jack is very embarrassed, so he can't enter heaven after death, and because he can't enter the hell because he makes fun of the devil, he can only wander around the lantern until the day of Judgment. Thus, Jack and the pumpkin light became the symbol of the cursed soul. In order to scare these wandering souls on Halloween night, people use carved turnips, beets or potatoes to create scary faces to represent Jack with lanterns. After the Irish moved to the United States, they began to use pumpkins for carving, because in the fall of the United States, pumpkins were more abundant than turnips. Now, if people put a pumpkin lantern on the window on Halloween night, it means that those wearing Halloween costumes can knock on the door and ask for candy. In pumpkin lanterns, people often put candles or some candy in it.

These are some of the activities of Halloween, and the festivals that children love. There are children who go door-to-door to collect candy, play tricks and pranks, and pumpkins. These combinations together make up the richness of "Halloween."
