Digging wild vegetables

My grandmother is in a small village in the country. There is a large open space behind the house. The open space is covered with weeds and wild vegetables. One of them is called amaranth.

After dinner at noon today, my mother and I took a sickle and a basket of vegetables to dig the leek. On the open space, a blossoming leek is like a blooming flower, and it is tightly tied together. Mother picked up the scissors, opened the loose soil and weeds next to it, and smashed it with scissors, and dug the leeks. I learned how my mother looked, opened the loose soil and weeds, and used the scissors to "snap" it. Yeah! It’s not good, cut it in half! I tried it again and took it and looked at it. It’s a lot better. I tried it a few times, and I made progress more than once. It didn’t take long for us to dig a lot, and I went home happily with the “trophy”.

In the evening, there was more leeks and shredded pork on the table. I ate the leeks I had dug, and my heart was so delicious. I felt that this meal was so delicious!
