National Day

The golden wind is cool, and the sky is high. In this fruitful season, we celebrate the 63rd birthday of the motherland. The streets and alleys are beautifully arranged. Every family has a national flag, and the National Day is held every year. All countries must hold different forms of celebrations to strengthen the patriotism of their people and enhance the cohesiveness of the country. All countries also want to congratulate each other.

Early in the morning, my mother and I went to Wuyi Square to see the flag raising. I remembered Chairman Mao’s solemn declaration to the world on the Tiananmen Gate: the People’s Republic of China was established! In the past few years, the motherland has undergone earth-shaking changes. In 1997, Hong Kong returned to the embrace of the motherland. The rice flag slowly descended on the land of Hong Kong, and the bright five-star red flag and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region regional flag were accompanied by the national anthem. For a time, people's moods are extremely exciting, because China is strong and will not be oppressed by the powers! I feel very honored. Here, I want to proudly say to my motherland: I love you, China!

When I got home, I read the news and saw the Monument to the People's Heroes. The monument reads: "The people's heroes who died in the People's Liberation War and the People's Revolution for three years are immortal! In the 30 years since the People's Liberation War and the People's Revolution The people's heroes are immortal! From then on, in 1840, the people's heroes who fought for the national independence and the people's freedom and happiness in the struggles against the internal and external enemies have never lost their lives!"

The "three years" in this inscription refers to the war of liberation; "30 years" refers to the new-democratic revolutionary struggle since the May 4th Movement in 1919 to the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949; and in 1840, China was invaded. The beginning of the Opium War in 1840, China has been filled with smoke and smoke, becoming a semi-colonial and semi-feudal country. In these three time periods, there are unyielding struggles of Chinese patriots. I am proud of Chinese heroes!
