We only have one earth. She is our beautiful home. It is the place where we live and live. We can't pollute and destroy her. We usually protect and cherish her.

The year before, the water intake of the tap water in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province was in the lower reaches of the river. Because a chemical plant rushed to discharge harmful waste water, the city of Yancheng stopped water. In a week, 300,000 people in the urban area did not have running water and could only buy mineral water. My grandmother lived in the suburbs of Yancheng. The mineral water in the supermarket near the house has been sold out. It took a lot of effort and ran a lot of roads. I bought some mineral water in the city, and the price is much higher than usual. . I think this chemical plant is really awful. The waste water should be purified and then discharged. Now, the disorderly discharge has caused 300,000 people in the urban area to use water. This incident made me deeply understand how important it is to pay attention to environmental protection and protect the earth.

I pay attention to environmental protection in my usual life. At home, my mother has many plants that purify the air—plants such as spider plants, green radish, tiger peony, and immortal humans. It does not bring green to the home, or purifies the air. It really kills two birds with one stone. In the summer, my bath is generally controlled within 10 minutes. When I wash my hair, I always turn off the faucet to avoid wasting water. In the winter, I am in the wash water, add some hot water to wash my feet, and try to reuse it. My contribution to environmental protection is not limited to these, there are many.

Once, our family went to the park to play, and Dad planned to drive. He pulled the door and said to me, "Get on the bus." I think that protecting the earth should start from me, and he said to him earnestly: "Dad, let's take the MRT. The exhaust gas emitted by the car is too polluting. The MRT is not only low cost, but also environmentally friendly." After a few seconds of pause, Dad said, "Okay, we will try our best to take the MRT and contribute to our beautiful homeland - Green Earth."

The earth is the home of each of us, our green home, protecting the earth and creating a green home is the responsibility of each of us. Starting from ourselves, starting with little things, and living in a green home, our planet will be more environmentally friendly.
