One day at noon, I sat behind my mother's car and went to school. I ate a lot of apples that my mother had cut, and my mouth and heart were sweet, my mother was so good!

When I finished eating the apple, I threw the core into the road. When my mother saw that I was not moving, I asked, "Is the apple finished?" "It’s finished." Mom asked again: "Where did the apple core go?" "Throw the road." I did not agree. "嗤", my mother stopped the car, pointing in the direction of going back and said: "Go and pick it up, throw it into the trash!" Looking at my mother's serious expression, my eyes are moist.

My heart is up and down, as if two elves are fighting. An elf kindly persuaded: "Love the environment, everyone is responsible, go and pick it up." The other is trying to encourage: "No big deal, it’s not just you who litter." I didn't know what to do. I whispered, "Mom, I will pay attention to it later. I will forget it today. It’s late!” Mom stopped the car and said to me: “It’s really bad to know if you can improve your mistakes. It’s true that you don’t care. What do you think is right? I am waiting for you!”

Mom is right! I know that I am doing something wrong, how can I not change it? Thinking of this, I quickly ran to the place where the garbage was thrown away. I only heard my mother shouting behind me: "Slow down, don't fall..."

On the way to the end of the school, my mother told me that Jianhu County in our hometown is a national civilized city. This is the hard work of our numerous environmental protection workers. Every one of us should start from me, care for the environment, and be a civilized lake builder. I think that although I am a primary school student, I can't directly engage in environmental protection work, but I can start from myself and not throw litter; I don't need disposable lunch boxes or chopsticks; save every piece of paper, every drop of water...

I decided to start from me, start from the little things around me, love our hometown, refuse pollution, make the blue sky bluer, and make the water clearer.
