During the summer vacation, I went to Beijing to participate in the national piano competition. In order to let me broaden my horizons and grow my knowledge, Dad took me to Beijing to climb a section of the "Great Wall" along the line - Juyongguan.

In the hot sun, we came to the foot of the Great Wall. Look up, wow, how majestic! On the verdant hillsides, the Great Wall is like a dragon, hovering between the mountains and mountains, looming.

I lifted my legs and prepared to follow the steps and climb the "Dragon" step by step. It is not so good to climb. Each level is so high. Only after climbing a dozen levels, I felt tired, but I didn't want to quit halfway, and continued to climb up. We stopped for a few minutes on the middle of the city platform and continued to climb high.

On both sides of the steps are more than one meter high wall, and there are lookouts and shooting guns on the bottom. I stepped on the masonry under my feet and supported the wall. I was excited to think: What a great project to build the Great Wall! How persevering the working people of the Qin Dynasty! Without their hard work, how can they make such a great project of the Great Wall?

Unconsciously, we have climbed very high, not far from the peak fire station. When I stand on the peak fire platform to watch the beautiful scenery, it is really a sweeping view! At this point, I reminded me of one of the words in "Encourage Learning": "I tasted it and looked at it. It is better to see the ascendant. Ascend and recruit, the arm is not lengthened, but the farsightedness is seen; The sound is not added to the disease, but the smell is clear." The feeling of ascending to the top is really good.

I thought it would be easy to go on, but I didn't expect it to be much more laborious than coming up. As long as you lift your feet up, when you go down, because the steps are high and steep, you must not only hold the railings, but also take care to take steps.

Although I was not able to board the second peak fire station this time, I am still very happy. I love you, the Great Wall!
