"Insects" after reading

During the summer vacation, I read a famous insect-related book, "Insects," which tells us a lot about insects. Here I introduce an insect called fireflies.

Fireflies are an insect that everyone is familiar with. It has a faint glow at the top of its belly, just like a small lamp hanging from the belly. On quiet summer nights, they often see them wandering in the grass.

The fireflies have three pairs of short legs, and they use these three pairs of short legs to run. When the male firefly reaches the adult stage, it will grow coleoptera, just like other beetles. And some females always maintain the shape of the larval stage, unable to enjoy the joy of flying.

The firefly has a colorful coat, its body is brown maroon, the chest is soft pink, and the edges of its round costumes are dotted with bright red-brown spots. This is the cute firefly.

The book "Insects" teaches us a lot. It teaches us how to observe insects, teaches us how to recognize insects, and more importantly, it teaches us to love insects.
