Reading "The Heroic Dog King"

This summer, I read a book, "The Heroic Dog King." The author of this book is Avi of the United States. He mainly wrote a sled dog that lives in human life. He is brave and loyal and kind. He takes care of the small owner Jack and handles the affairs of the dog in the town. He lived a quiet life until one day, a female wolf called the ice wolf came to the town, she wanted to summon the town's longing for free dogs to return to nature and join her wild wolves. King Kong’s loyalty was shaken for the first time, and he found himself also yearning for a free life, just like his ancestors.

There are thirty-one chapters in this book. The chapter that impressed me is the sixteenth chapter: King Kong steals meat. This chapter mainly writes about King Kong’s recovery for the ice wolf. He went down to the owner’s house and stole a piece of meat. Also did a bad thing - stealing.

I think King Kong is very affectionate to his friends.
