Hello everyone!

I am Zheng Yiling of Class 701. I am very glad to be able to participate in this speech event organized by our school today. The topic of my speech is "Speaking Civilization, Standing New Wind".

Since ancient times, our Chinese nation has always been known as the state of ceremonies and the country of civilization. Our school is no exception. The civilized and courteous, respectable and eager to learn style has spread all over the campus. But we also have to see that there will be shadows in the sun, and there are still some unsatisfactory places. When you see the lunch boxes, bags, and beverage bottles that are discarded everywhere on campus, listen to the swearing words of some students. How can it not be painful? Are we all "language giants, action dwarfs"? We accept the education of civility and etiquette, but we are arrogant in fulfilling and even doing the opposite, which is different from never receiving education! Therefore, if we want to practice social civilization, we must work hard from this "integration of knowing and doing" and work hard from our own words and deeds. We must bid farewell to uncivilized behavior. Don't think that smoking and drinking is a cool thing. It is a bad thing to dye and gamble. You must know that this is your bad behavior. Such curiosity is urging you to deviate from the path of civilization. If you don't suddenly realize it, you will go to the path of illegal crime. When you have paid the price and want to turn back, you can only know the regret later.

By learning biology and learning about living things, we know that bacteria and fungi are the decomposers of nature. These garbage in life is like a decomposer of our world. It devours every inch of our land, swallows every drop of clean water, and swallows the invisible fresh air, and we are the makers of these decomposers. It is also a victim. We throw garbage anywhere, so that it can quickly swallow our land; we throw garbage into the river, even in the well, let it greedily drink pure water; we throw it around, I haven't seen anyone who took the initiative to sweep it. The garbage in the food gradually became moldy, and the smell that came out was disgusting. Then we realized that it was cleaned.

How big is our planet? Some people are ignorant in thinking that anyway, the earth is so big, I can't count what I throw. But he did not expect that he thought so, everyone else would follow him. In this way, you throw some, he throws a little, no one to clean, even if he feels sick, still too lazy to go. For such a person, I really can't describe him in words. Classmates, there is only one earth, no matter how big, if you don’t care for it and cherish it, it’s only us human beings who are harmed by us.
