Even a pair of socks have been made up and replenished. He never spends money, he does not eat well, but he donates the money he saved to the school and the disaster area, but he does not write his own name. The spirit of the "People's Liberation Army" deserves our admiration and study.

Lei Feng wants to join the army, but because the medical examination is not up to standard, he wants to contribute to the country. He wants to be a soldier. Even more unfortunately, Lei Feng’s only relative, his mother, was insulted by the landlord, in the mid-autumn of 1947. At night, Lei Feng, who was only 7 years old, became an orphan. He was struggling to survive under the pull of Liu Shugong and Liu Shu’s grandmother. The head was touched. He promised Lei Feng to join the army. Lei Feng was very happy.

At that time, there was a major flood in Fushun, and the embankment broke down. He tried to call people, and he was injured in his own body. He still refused to give up and continued to call people. Finally, they also helped them to build the embankment.

He helped a lot of people. He helped his aunt to find his son, helped Jin Lingzi to regain his self, and helped the conductor to pour water on the passengers. He helped so many people, but at the age of 22, he died in public service.

At 8 o'clock in the morning on August 15, 1962, Lei Feng and his assistant Joan Anshan drove back to the company's yard from the construction site, and went to the car wash immediately despite the fatigue of long-distance driving. At that time, the soldiers planted a row of wooden poles about two meters high on the roadside, and the top was pulled with a No. 8 wire. Lei Feng let Joan Anshan drive, and he got off the bus and directed Joe Anshan to reverse the turn. The front wheel of the car passed, but the outside of the rear tire squeezed the wood from the root. Under the action of the top wire, the wooden pole bounced back, just hit Lei Feng's right temple, and he was bleeding on the spot. Lei Feng fainted to the ground. The comrades immediately sent him to the Fushun Mining Bureau Western Workers Hospital on a stretcher. The deputy company commander drove to Shenyang 202 Hospital and invited medical experts. However, due to skull injury, brain bleeding, leading to brain dysfunction, Lei Feng unfortunately died, only 22 years old.
