Forbidden City Tour
Today, I was fortunate enough to visit the Forbidden City. I have heard since childhood that there is an imperial palace in Beijing, the Forbidden City. Today, I saw that I even knew each other. Even under heavy rain, I did not weaken my excitement.
When I came to the Forbidden City, the first thing that caught my eye was the house of countless red walls and yellow tiles in the Forbidden City. This kind of building was only available to the emperor in ancient times! All in all, I saw three words in the Forbidden City: big! majestic! Listening to the tour guide, the Forbidden City has a total of 720,000 square meters, 150,000 square meters of building area and more than 8,700 temples and pavilions, which can be majestic! And around the Forbidden City, there are more than 10 meters high wall, which is rectangular. There are also four turrets on the four sides of the palace wall. There is a 52-meter wide moat outside the wall, making the Forbidden Palace a self-defense system. "City in the City"!
We entered from the Beidou Shenwumen of the Forbidden City. The Shenwumen was originally Xuanwumen. Because it was avoided by the name of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was changed to Shenwumen. Shenwumen corresponds to its name, and it is as powerful as it is, and it is like the rise of the water. Passing through the Shenwumen, there is a small door in front of the door. There is a pair of guarded stone lions at the door, named Shunyumen. This door is used by the emperor to go out. Passing through the Shunyu Gate, the first pavilion of the royal family, the Qin'an Temple, appeared. Bypassing this hall is the well-known royal garden, the Imperial Garden. Although the Royal Garden is not as big as I imagined, but the species is complete, there is no flavor! Next, through Tianyimen and Kunning Latch, they went to the palace of the Ming Dynasty, Kunning Palace. During the reign of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, the western end was converted into a place of shaman worship according to the custom of Manchu. The Dongwen Pavilion was the cave of the emperor's marriage. It is full of candlesticks, porcelain and other ritual supplies, as well as a seat carved from white marble, which is really rich, I have to take it quickly! Bypassing the Kunning Palace, the front is the main hall where the Queen lives. In the middle of the temple, there is the throne of the empress, and there is the word "inaction" by Emperor Kangxi. During the Qing Dynasty, the emperor was congratulated on the New Year's Day, the Winter Solstice and the Three Festivals.
After passing the Thai Temple, I came to the palace I want to go to – the Qing Palace! Here is the place where the emperors of the dynasties went up, and there was a golden throne in it. In ancient times, the civil and military officials saw the emperor here. Originally, as long as it costs 50 yuan to enter, you can sit on the emperor's golden throne, and have passed the emperor's addiction, and now it is not open, I can only take pictures outside. But this is still very happy for me, after all, the former people can't come here! Passing through the dry gates in front of the Qing Palace, the Taihe Hall is the center, and the Baohe Temple and the Wumen Gate are the large rectangular buildings that open before and after. It is also the largest area in the Forbidden City. Here you have to ask: Why is the emperor not in the palace of the largest Taihe Temple, but to "hidden" to the smaller dry palace in the back? It turned out that during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there was a strict court system. The Taihe Temple could only be used for the new emperor to marry the emperor and the emperor. Closer to see, the Hall of Supreme Harmony is located on the base of the three-story white marble jade carving. A red wooden pillar supports the roof, and the beautiful side of the eaves is engraved with the beautiful flower carvings and the signs of "卍" in the Buddha's door. This majestic tower is like a building. Can I let it go? Of course, I have to take a few more shots and have a good time! Among them, there is also a golden throne in the Hall of Supreme Harmony, but unfortunately it is not open, it is really disappointing!
Walking out of the Taihe Gate, passing through the Jinshui Bridge is the usual door of the TV series, which is the biggest door of the Forbidden City! Why do you want to launch the Meridian Gate at three o'clock in the afternoon? It turns out that the ancients thought that the time of the yin and yang at noon was three o'clock in the afternoon. At about three o'clock in the afternoon, the man was pushed into the underworld from the sun. It was not at the gate of the noon. It was because the gate was equivalent to the emperor's door at the time. Who would be willing to be at his doorstep? What about the dead? Therefore, the rules of ancient times are very numerous and cumbersome.
Walking out of the Meridian Gate, the Forbidden City tour was over. The sights and sounds in the Forbidden City left a deep impression on my heart, which reminded me of the luxurious life of the ancient emperor, the hard work and wisdom of the workers who built the palace, and the palace at that time. The strict internal system has made me have a deeper understanding of ancient times. It is really worthwhile!
This trip to the Forbidden City is fun, exciting, disappointing, but more is fun, it is worth it, I will remember this day!
