[Daily note] English reading contest

This afternoon, the school held the first eighth grade English contest.

The students who participated in the competition performed very well. What made me most happy was that the two groups of students in our class were honored to win the first and third place.

Unfortunately, I abstained from participating in this competition, and now I feel very sorry about it. This made me understand the truth: no matter what you do, you have to try it. Even if it fails, you will not regret yourself.
