Dream catching

Dream catching

Each of us will have dreams, and our life is also striving to realize these dreams. Some people are discouraged when they realize their dreams. Some people are facing difficulties, some are halfway, and some stick to the end.

Dreams often seem to be out of reach. My timid dream is that I can stand on the stage and speak to the public. In the process of realizing my dreams, I must have the courage to persevere and sweat.

I was very small when I was young. When I was at the party, I always shrank aside and watched everyone play instead of playing with everyone. When I was eating at the restaurant, I didn't even have the courage to ask a waiter for a napkin. To this end, my parents are very anxious. Whenever they are on holiday, they always let me go to the stage to say a few words of congratulations, or let me blow a piece of music. Even a short period of time can make them happy.

Once, I saw Martin Luther King's <<I have a dream>>, I was deeply attracted to him, and since then, I am determined to stand on the podium like him. To this end, I have to read the text aloud on the balcony every day, hoping to read the people downstairs. At the beginning my voice was still very small. After a few days, my voice gradually came out. After a few weeks, my voice was completely released. But I was still afraid to talk to people, so later, when the parents took me to the restaurant to eat, they first chose the dishes, and then asked me to ask the waiter to place an order. At the beginning, I still dared not say that when I reported the name of the dish, the name of the dish was reported clearly. On several occasions, the waiter was even anxious. However, the number of orders has increased, and I have gradually become accustomed to it. Over time, I am not afraid.

After a while, my father and I traveled abroad because I didn't dare to speak English with the salesperson, and I couldn't figure out the difference between "mineral water" and "soda", so Dad drank a lot of "qi". After returning, in order to allow me to talk directly with foreigners, Dad took me to the "English Corner" of some parks. At first, I was too reluctant to talk. A foreigner took the initiative to communicate with me. He asked me some very simple questions, patiently waited for me to answer, and then used a streamlined language to let me understand the way of oral communication. Gradually, I found that there was nothing terrible to talk to foreigners. When I went there, there were still people who knew me and greeted me with great enthusiasm. I also responded cautiously, for fear of saying the wrong things. Over time, I also made many foreign friends.

I am still practicing now. I believe that one day, I will realize my dream and stand on the stage to give a speech to the public.

The second day: Yan Yunqi
