My first scientific attempt
I like worms and go outside to observe the worms when I have time. Today, I have done my homework. When I was thinking about watching the insects outside, the dark night began to hang down, and God began to "flow tears"!
I couldn't help but sigh at the sky, thinking: The weather was just fine, it didn't rain, it didn't rain late, and it started to rain when I got out. When I was worried, my mother told me to drink rice tea. When I saw the tea, I immediately became interested in it. I felt particularly strange because I saw a lot of scorpions floating on the cup and a few scorpions at the bottom of the cup. Why do some scorpions float on the water, and some scorpions will sink to the bottom of the teacup? I thought about it carefully: It might be that the scorpion is like a ball, and there is air inside to float on the water.
I started doing small experiments. First of all, I took two capsules from the rafters floating on the water, put one of the scorpions in the water, and flattened them with a pair of chopsticks. As I expected, the scorpion really appeared in the water. It is. Then I took off the chopsticks and observed that the scorpion would sink, and I saw that the scorpion slowly sank. Then I took another tweezers with chopsticks and pushed it to the bottom of the cup. I took off the chopsticks. The tweezers slowly floated up and finally floated onto the water. Oh, I finally figured things out. It turns out my speculation is correct. Because the air inside the first scorpion came out, it sank. There is air in the second scorpion, so it floats up.
Through this small experiment, I understand the truth. The scorpion is like a ball. It can float on the water and there will be no air.
I would like to know if I put more water, or if I can put mung beans into mung bean sprouts less quickly. A few days ago, I did an experiment to test it. I took two plastic boxes, brought paper towels and water, and brought two mung bean seeds. I put the paper towels in two boxes, then put 50 drops of water in one box, and the other box. Put 80 drops of water, then I put the two mung bean seeds in two boxes and write the number. The water is number 1, and the water is number 2. Finally, I put the box on the south-facing balcony. It is. Do all this well, my heart is sweet, I can immediately know the result. I also suspect that the group of mung beans that think that the water is more will sprout faster. I stood quietly on the balcony and waited patiently for this moment. I waited for about 2 hours and I found that the seeds in the No. 1 box were much larger, and the seeds in the No. 2 box were almost unchanged. I waited for another three hours or so. I found that the seed skin in the No. 1 box was broken, and the seeds in the No. 2 box only rose a lot. I am secretly happy, continue to wait for the moment when the seeds are sprouting. About three hours later, I looked again and found that No. 1 had a foot outstretched, and No. 2 only broke the skin. I think: I will know the result in a little while! I waited for 2 hours, I saw the seeds in the box with much water sprouting, I let the seeds sprout faster, I cried happily: "I guess, I succeeded!" This mung bean sprouting experiment has benefited me a lot!
