Chasing the dream

Dreams are a goal, just like the stars in the sky generally guide us step by step toward the distance.

Since childhood, I have loved drawing. At that time, I was always slowly drawing on those beautiful pictures. Every time I made a stroke, I thought about it: I must be a painter in the future. Later I learned that this is the so-called dream.

When I was in kindergarten, I also been painting. There are still paintings that are immature and incomprehensible. Although it looked "missing", I was very proud and proud of my paintings. I also participated in some small competitions and won some rankings.

When I arrived at the National Elementary School, I stopped for a while on my own path of painting. At that time, I was hooked on anime and painted cartoon characters that looked very beautiful all day. Of course, it still seems to be "disastrous." The friends in the class are also the same as me. At that time, I thought: I will still be a cartoonist in the future.

I didn't know at the time that the cartoonists had gone through a long process of cultivation, rising from the bottom of their circle and becoming a famous celebrity. I didn't realize that I was just painting by instinct, not systematically, purposefully, and improving my own deficiencies, although I wouldn't make much progress. The dream at that time was like a nonsense.

After entering the middle school, I began to realize my own shortcomings. I started to learn some basics, such as: control of the lines, mastery of the structure of the human body, and so on. Gradually, the original "missing" paintings became pleasing to the eye. The classmates also liked my paintings very much, and the results of the art class have always been excellent.

But I know that this is not the ultimate goal for me. There are still a lot of flaws in my paintings, and there is still a lot of room for improvement. I will not give up what I have insisted on over the years. I must achieve my goal and become a cartoonist! I often think so.

Some people study art because their own main lessons can't keep up, there is no other choice, just as a skill that can be used later, these people learn more sketches. Some people learn ink painting and meticulous painting, in order to cultivate their own body, cultivate their own sentiments, and add a touch of art to their temperament. And I am different from them, painting was once my hobby and goal. Today, it is my hobby and habit, a long-lasting dream, has become an indispensable part of my life.

I hope that my efforts will pay off.
