The green lake, the green grass, the green duckweed, the green trees... These are my childhood dreams. Green is the color of life, and green belt gives us hope.

Now, look at the woods that have been cut to the ground, the bird's home is gone; look at the grass that has been leveled, the bird's playful land is gone; look at the polluted streams, the bird's water source is gone... ...What else is there for the bird? ? ? What about other animals? ? ? The only thing left for the birds to walk is the bumpy concrete road, leaving the birds to stop, singing only the bare stumps, the birds flying, wanting to catch a cool water before people, want to catch people in front of Fly on a tall, pretty tree and sing a song again. After all this, you can only watch the trees being cut down on the ground.

The earth is the living home of our human beings, but this home is being destroyed by the waste gas and garbage we have created. Our living environment is gradually threatened by various disasters: the disappearance of large areas of forests and grasslands, replaced by deserts full of eyes; the hot summer is plaguing humans, more and more cities are beginning to lack water, species are on the verge of extinction, and garbage dumps become mountains. The energy is scarce, and warnings from the atmosphere, water, land, and living things are increasingly coming to us...

Think about the earth before, once so beautiful and rich, she is like a mother, constantly providing human resources to survive. Nowadays, natural disasters such as hurricanes, blizzards, and floods that have occurred in various countries due to improper environmental protection have been everywhere... bringing endless suffering and loss to the people of the world. Contacting the recent severe drought in the southwestern part of China is even more shocking. "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world", but most riverbeds in the current Lancang River have been exposed, and the beauty of the past has long ceased to exist.

Environmental protection is not a new issue for us. The Chinese government has long proposed clear governance goals. Environmental protection includes not only the "big things" of animals, the protection of forests, the prevention of pollution of the atmosphere and water, but also the mundane things that are ubiquitous in our lives. As every ordinary person in real life, although it is impossible to directly engage in environmental protection work, we can start from the little things around us and start from me. I can't stop people from cutting down a small number of forest resources. But I can save every piece of paper, I can care for flowers and trees. I can't stop people from catching and killing rare animals, but I can do it without catching or eating all the animals that the state protects. I can't stop factories and urban domestic sewage from polluting rivers and lakes, but I can use non-phosphorus washing powder to save water as much as possible. I can't stop the overwhelming white garbage from polluting the environment, but I can use as little or no plastic bags as possible. . I can't stop the destruction of the environment too much, but I can do a lot of things to protect the environment. I can start small things, start from everyday life, and start from what I can do. I think if everyone does this, then our living environment will reduce some pollution. For ourselves, for our children and grandchildren, and for our shared homeland, protecting the environment should be the conscious act of each of us.

The wheel of history is rumbling to the 22nd century. As a middle school student, a small citizen, we must stand up bravely and appeal to everyone: the protection of the environment has reached a point where it can not be delayed, we are duty-bound!
