College students' thoughts on joining the party

Dear party organization:

Recently, our department has carried out a series of activities. There are two-level party school trainings, such as “being a person, you, me, and doing things”, a postgraduate experience exchange meeting, a grateful education parent report meeting, a sentimental disaster area donation ceremony, a postgraduate mobilization meeting and Science and technology reading initiation ceremony and other activities. These activities have touched my heart very much, so I want to report to the party organization about my recent state of mind.

On the afternoon of May 13th, the assistant to the dean, Zhang Songqing, gave us a party member and a party activist to give a vivid party class - "Being a man, you, me, doing things publicly." In terms of being a human being, he let us know that people must adhere to the people-oriented principle and take human development as the most basic starting point. We must be like the "human" word, there are parts beyond others that can be accepted by others. At the same time, we should be willing to do the "human" word, learn to help others, support others, let others show themselves more. In terms of doing things, he let us know that we should take a public heart, adopt the principle of fairness, justice, and openness, adopt appropriate methods to do things best, constantly do things in the middle, and become a person. This training has a very important guiding significance for us to do things in the future, and I have benefited a lot.

On the evening of May 14th, we held a postgraduate experience exchange meeting. This event made us understand the hardships of the postgraduate entrance examination, but at the same time it also strengthened our confidence. We are convinced that as long as we have strengthened our goals, we will not be afraid of difficulties, persevere in hard work, struggle, and move toward the goal, then the final victory must belong to us. At the same time, it also strengthened my determination to join the Chinese Communist Party. I will definitely strive to achieve this goal.

On May 15th, in the C building 201, our department held a gratitude education parent report meeting and a donation ceremony for the disaster area. I think the biggest highlight of this event is the introduction of parents, which enhances the interaction between schools, parents and students. Although it is not gorgeous and spectacular, it has deeply impressed the concept of grateful education into our hearts. The words of the parents' representatives on the rostrum are very ordinary and simple. They are just about the bits and pieces of our growth, but it is these unpretentious words that have deeply touched our hearts. Through self-examination, I deeply understood the greatness of my father's love for motherhood. This profoundly reminds us that we must love our own parents better, care for them, and honor them. This is our unshirkable responsibility. In addition, the Wenchuan earthquake also shocked me for a long time. In the face of the raging natural disaster, we humans seem so small and helpless. However, the natural disasters of the ruthless people are affectionate. In the face of the disaster, all of us in China are united and joined together in the flood of earthquake relief. XX is China's Olympic year, and it is an eventful year. But I firmly believe that as long as we Chinese are united, no one can stop China's progress.

Recently, a series of activities carried out by the department have been highly targeted, and at the same time, I have benefited from the idea of embodying people-oriented. I will continue to work hard to improve my ideological and political level and strive to join the party as soon as possible. I hope the party organizations will strengthen their supervision and test.
