Report on the Party Science Thought of College Students in October
Dear party organization:
Through these two party classes, I learned about the "party members' rights and obligations" and the "party organization system and party discipline". First, the rights and duties of party members are unified. Marx said: "There is no obligation without obligation, and there is no obligation without rights." The rights and obligations of party members are interrelated, interdependent and mutually reinforcing. Opposing and separating rights and obligations requires only having rights, not fulfilling obligations, or as long as party members do their duty, and ignoring the rights of party members is not correct. In addition, democratic centralism is the fundamental organizational system of our party, and the Chinese Communists have carried out new enrichment and development of democratic centralism in the process of practice and exploration, and have given new and deeper content to democratic centralism. Therefore, the party's organizational system is a dynamic and viable system. The party's discipline is also an iron-clad discipline. It cannot be ambiguous. Every communist should use it as a guideline to constrain its behavior and cannot go beyond this bottom line.
I used to think that only doing the duty to not enjoy the right is the performance of the party spirit. When it comes to party members, it is habitually associated with words such as selfless dedication. But the first sentence that Teacher Chen Xionghui said during class was immediately attracted to my interest. Teacher Chen said: "Today our focus is on rights rather than obligations." I heard this sentence very novel. Because in the past we all seem to be instilled with the idea that "obligations must be fulfilled and rights can be abandoned." This requirement for party members seems to be more strict. It seems that as long as party members pursue rights, it is a matter that should not be shameful. But in fact, this idea is wrong. If party members do not enjoy the rights they deserve in the party, it is also difficult to fulfill their obligations.
In the classroom, Teacher Chen gave us an example of Chen Shaomin. At the party's eighth party, Comrade Chen Shaomin was elected as a member of the Central Committee. In the "Cultural Revolution", she was shocked, but because of her prestige, at the end of 1968, she was allowed to participate in the 12th Central Committee of the Eighth Central Committee. At the meeting, when she finally voted "forever expelled" Liu Shaoqi's decision to leave the party, she refused to raise her hand at the table. Although the plenary communiqué issued at that time announced the "unanimous approval", the historical facts lacked Chen Shaomin's vote. After the meeting, Kang Sheng asked her: "Why don't you raise your hand?" What I got was just a stern reply: "This is my right!" It is Chen Shaomin who bravely defended and used his rights. It is her Straightforward, the history of China’s “Cultural Revolution” gradually recovered its truth after being altered. Chen Shaomin became the only conscience in Liu Shaoqi’s false and wrong case. Therefore, the enjoyment of rights to a certain extent represents the insistence on the truth and on the correct values of oneself, which we cannot easily give up.
Second, our party has always been a disciplined organization. The so-called "no rules and no squares", a good system and strict discipline are an important guarantee for a political party to unite and win. Teacher Jiang Dayong used several data to show us the process of the Soviet Communist Party's death: when the CPSU had 20,000 members, it seized power; when the Soviet Communist Party had 200,000 members, it repelled the fascist attack; when the Soviet Union had 200 When the 10,000 members were members, the regime was lost and the Soviet Union was disintegrated. The implications behind these data are indeed worthy of our consideration and reference. No matter how powerful a party is, if it lacks a normative constraint, it will not develop well in the end, and it will even go extinct.
Whether we have not yet become party members, or have joined the party members of the Communist Party, we should have a bottom line to restrain ourselves and clearly tell ourselves what is right, what is wrong, what should be done, what is not What should be done, not lost in the process of following the trend.
