College students' winter vacation thought report

Hello there! A winter vacation has passed away unconsciously. As an activist who joined the party, I have never relaxed my studies. During the winter vacation, I not only strengthened my professional knowledge, but also learned about the party-to-rural policy. As a college student who grows up in the countryside, I am paying extra attention to the development of the countryside. It is believed that the state will put forward more proposals on rural development in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", and the life of farmers will be better and better.

During this winter vacation, I visited some rural areas in order to investigate the development of new socialist countryside and the scientific development concept. After the investigation, I found some current developments in rural areas.

From an economic point of view, we know that to develop, we must first build roads. In the course of the investigation, we have seen great improvements in the development of transportation in rural areas. It was impossible to go out from the previous rainy days, and now the cement road has almost reached every household. Moreover, the number of vehicles that farmers can choose now is more and more advanced. From bicycles to locomotives to cars, step by step.

In the process of continuous economic development, the conditions of farmers' homes are getting better and better. From the former thatched cottages to the brick houses, to the current two or three storey red brick houses, even small villas. Life is really getting better and better, and it is getting more and more enjoyable. In 2019, in order to better implement the scientific concept of development and live in peace with the environment, the government paid money to create a biogas pool for every household in the countryside. In this way, the source of pollution is reduced, the disorder is avoided, and a good environment is created for the residents of pigs. The beautiful rural environment has led many people in the city to want to come to the countryside, to live in this kind of house built in the mountains, to absorb the fresh air of nature and to feel the beauty of nature.

Nowadays, farmers have made innovations in the planting industry. Many villagers have started their own ideas. On the allocated land, not only crops are planted, but also some small-scale cash crops are being planted, such as: greenhouses. Vegetables, plantations, vineyards, etc. are also on the rise. While satisfying their own food and clothing, they have also increased their economic income, which reflects the continuous improvement of people's living standards. Many factories have also been introduced to the countryside, adding another income to farmers. These are all started to improve the living standards of farmers, and try to maximize the use of resources.

In terms of rural culture, I also deeply understand that the current farmers are not at all ambiguous about the education of their children. They all hope that their children will have a certain degree in their academic achievements, and they will be able to contribute their own strength to serve the motherland in the future. Therefore, the current rural education is also a big part of the country's attention. In order to be in line with the city's life, many villages have begun to organize entertainment activities, such as: convene a group of interested, passionate people to drum, dance and so on. There are also some places that have begun to make some preparations for public infrastructure. These have made great innovations to enrich the daily life of farmers and improve the spiritual and cultural life of the peasants.

We know that the issue of agriculture, rural areas and farmers has been repeatedly listed as the focus of work by the Party Central Committee, as well as comprehensive reduction and exemption of agricultural taxes, subsidies for agriculture, and so on. Beginning at the end of 2019, the new rural social endowment insurance system piloted in rural areas began. This major measure has guaranteed the aging of the peasants. From the investigation, I saw that everyone praised the Communist Party of China, saying that the party did not forget the peasants, and that they were still thinking about the peasants everywhere, and they enjoyed the same treatment as urban residents. Such a policy has made the peasants very moved.

In the 12th Five-Year Plan, rural development is still a hot issue. From the current overall level, China's construction of a new socialist countryside has a good foundation for the people, material foundation, and practice. However, there are still some distances if you want to reach the level required by the state. I believe that as long as we seriously support the party's program, implement the party's policies well, reduce the gap between urban and rural areas, and structure, standardize and modernize agricultural development, China's rural development will reach a new level.

On the road of China's evolving progress, we can easily find that the construction of a new socialist countryside is the joint construction of material civilization, political civilization, spiritual civilization and a harmonious society. If we really implement the scientific development concept and build a new socialist countryside, we must seriously handle the relationship between economic development and population, resources and the environment. Only in this way can we truly live a happy and healthy life. As a party activist, we need to work hard to learn all aspects of knowledge and contribute a small force to building our own place of existence in the future.
