Big Dipper

This summer, when I went to Guilin to travel, I saw the Big Dipper.

One night, the weather was particularly sunny and there was no cloud. The stars are all in front of me, as if I was an astronaut walking in space. When I was enchanted by this wonderful fantasy, I suddenly heard others shouting: "Look, Big Dipper!" Big Dipper? This name I used to hear only in the myth about the Big Bear constellation, knowing that it is part of the Great Bear Constellation, but I have not seen it with my own eyes. At this time, I heard someone shouting, but my mind was full of doubts: Where is the Big Dipper? What does it look like...

I told my mother about my question, and my mother kneel down and showed it to me from my point of view. My mother told me: "The Big Dipper is made up of seven stars. It is shaped like a spoon, and it is still a constellation." I listened to my mother's explanation while listening to my mother's fingers. Thinking about the shape she said, I finally found the Big Dipper. When I saw the Big Dipper, I felt a slight disappointment and pride. Disappointing was that I did not see the Big Bear constellation at the time. I was proud to have seen the Big Dipper that many people had only heard of but did not see!

But why is it called the Big Dipper? By asking adults and checking the information, I know that these seven stars all appear in the north of the sky, and are the brightest seven stars of the Big Bear. The ancient people connected these seven stars to imagine the shape of a bartender, three stars forming a handle, and four stars forming a body. Moreover, the clever ancients used the direction change of the Big Dipper to distinguish the season and provide meteorological services for the agricultural production at that time.

I finally got to know the Big Dipper.
