Mid-Autumn Festival

On the Mid-Autumn Festival night, our family had dinner early and went to the courtyard of the community to taste the delicious moon cake while watching the beautiful moon.

I saw the moon crawling up slowly, like a little girl, quietly peeping out. She looked around, and after a while, the courage seemed to be getting bigger, and the "嗖" sound jumped up completely.

The night is quiet. In the dark night sky, the moon is like a beautiful big disc, which sprinkles the silver moonlight on the earth. Every corner of the earth seems to be covered with a soft veil.

Each of our family performed a program about the Mid-Autumn Festival. My mother told the story of "Yu and Yutu". Dad sang a song about the "Five-Six Moons". I recited the water-sounding song written by Su Shi. "When is the moon in the moon, ask the wine for the sky"

A breeze blew through, making me feel that the Mid-Autumn Festival moon is extraordinarily bright and exceptionally round. I looked at the moon quietly, as if I saw beautiful dragonflies, cute jade rabbits, they are dancing in the moon!
