Beautiful Kanas

On the second day in Xinjiang, my mom and dad came to Kanas, the long-awaited paradise on earth.

Kanas is located in the northernmost part of Xinjiang, in the Altay region, bordering Mongolia, Russia, and Kazakhstan. It is known as the most mysterious and beautiful place in China. It is said to be a paradise where gods live.

On the road, I saw everywhere there was an endless grassland, like a green carpet covering the earth. There are scattered white felt houses on the prairie. These are the houses where the Kazakhs live. They are like bright pearls set on the green grassland. Around the yurt, there are groups of cattle and sheep grazing leisurely, and the horses are running happily. In the distance, the high mountains and pines are covered with bright wildflowers all over the grasslands.

Along the way, the beautiful scenery on both sides made me a little overwhelmed. Unconsciously, we came to Wolong Bay, one of the most famous three bays in Kanas. When you get off the bus, a fresh air is blowing in the face, making people feel very comfortable. Looking at it, the calm lake is green and clear, with silver. There is an island in the middle of the lake, like a dragon. Listening to the tour guide said that there is a legend. Legend has it that the Dragon King has many sons, and a younger son is very disobedient and likes to play around. One autumn, he flew to Kanas and felt that the scenery here was very beautiful and he was playing in the lake. Unexpectedly, the sky was suddenly snowing, the lake was frozen in the snow, the dragon was trapped here, and its body was made into a dragon-shaped shoal. Later it was called "Wolong Bay".

Then we drove to another scenic spot in the scenic spot - Moon Bay, which is an extension of the Wolong Bay River. I saw a river that resembles the moon in front of me. The river is clear and crystal clear. There are two low-lying islands in the river that are particularly eye-catching. They are like two giant footprints, which the locals call the footprints of the gods. About 3 kilometers north of Moon Bay, there is a river beach. The river here divides the forest and grass into pieces that resemble a broken island. It is called Shenxian Bay. This swamp shoal is illuminated by the sun, and the river is full of light, and even the leaves on the trees are swaying and sparkling with the wind.

After watching Sanwan, we went on the bus and went on, and soon came to the famous Kanas Lake. I ran off the car with excitement, and the beauty in front of me made me stunned! The sky is blue and deep, the snow peaks are snowy in the distance, the green forest stands on the mountain, the clouds are lingering in the mountainside, the grass is green at the foot of the mountain, and the Kanas Lake is blue and calm. The lake is like a smooth jade. Silver light shimmers in the sun's rays. Being in the green mountains and green waters is like being in the painting, making people forget to return!

The beauty of Kanas is a dreamy beauty, a magical beauty, and a beauty created by nature. Kanas makes me unforgettable!
