This spring of x years is supposed to be a season full of hope, but the urban areas of Southwest China are suffering from a rare drought in history. The rivers are cut off, the wells are dry, the farmland is cracked, and people's lives are in crisis. Especially in Yunnan, Guizhou, and parts of Guangxi, the drought has reached a very large drought level. In autumn and winter in Guizhou Province, there was a severe drought in 80 years, and drought in some areas even occurred once in a hundred years. At present, the drought is still developing continuously, and the disaster situation is still deepening and aggravating. The area affected by crops is 4348.6 thousand hectares, of which 940.2 thousand hectares are unacceptable, more than 51.049 million people are directly affected by the disaster, 16.09 million people have difficulty drinking water, and 11.055 million people have difficulty drinking water. Head, direct economic losses due to disasters of 19.02 billion. Today, some villages in Yunnan and Guizhou are more expensive than oil.

The drought in the southwest has always touched the hearts of all Chinese people. Every day, it is really anxious to see the news that the people in the dry areas lack water and food. In the face of the drought in the southwest, we must not stand by. Everyone should act, and they should do something practical for the people in the dry areas. They should really help them, instead of just shouting slogans.

Solving the problem of drinking water for the people is the most urgent task at present. In order to let the compatriots in the disaster area drink water, the Red Cross Society of the school issued a "donation of a bottle of water, dedication to a love" initiative to the teachers and students of the school.

One party has difficulty in helping. All the teachers and students, let us act together, give our love and strength, let us work together to help the compatriots in the disaster-stricken areas in the south to tide over the difficulties!

Way of donation:

Students donate in class, and the class leader will hand over the class donation to the teacher's office in the morning before Friday morning.

Teacher donations are organized by the school office and will be donated on-site from 9:00 to 9:30 tomorrow. We will set up two donation points to facilitate the teachers of the High School and Art Building. One in the hall at the school gate, one in the lobby on the first floor of the high school building.

The funds raised by the school will be transferred to the disaster area through normal channels, and then the water will be transported to the victims. After the event, we will also announce the results of donations and payments.
