School Committee on World Water Day Proposal

Dear students,

March 22 is the 19th "World Water Day", and March 22-28 is the 24th "China Water Week". The theme of this year's "World Water Day" and "China Water Week" activities is "strictly managing water resources and promoting a new leap in water resources."

Water, as a liquid of life, feeds human beings and thousands of creatures between heaven and earth. But in the 21st century, due to population growth, irrational use, pollution and global warming, the Earth's life liquid has already sounded an alarm to humans, and Mother Earth's milk is drying up. As one of the 13 countries with the most water resources in the world, China's per capita fresh water is only one quarter of the world's per capita level. More than 400 cities across the country have insufficient water supply, and 20% of them are drinking poor water, and tens of millions of people have difficulty drinking water. There are water pollution and waste everywhere in the country.

There is a long way to go to save water and protect water resources. Don't let our tears become the last drop in the world. Maybe just gently flip a used manuscript paper and continue to calculate it; maybe just wash the water from a bowl of washed clothes to rinse the mop; maybe just screw the dripping faucet in a circle... simple Actions are the most sincere feelings of others and the homes we live in. In order to establish the awareness of our teachers and students to save resources and protect the environment, to create a beautiful and civilized atmosphere, and to contribute to the conservation of world resources, we have issued the following initiatives to teachers and students throughout the school:

First, save water, pay attention to the status of water resources, directly look at the reality of water shortage in China, fully understand the necessity and significance of water conservation, establish a good awareness of water conservation, and develop good water conservation habits;

Second, try to shorten the water use time, turn off the faucet at will, and prevent the phenomenon of long water flow. If the phenomenon of water leakage of the faucet and pipeline is found, it should be reported to the relevant departments of the school in time;

Third, advocate everyone to use the container to wash fruits and vegetables, clean the face, the water can be reused after use;

Fourth, the clothes should be concentrated and washed as much as possible. Small pieces and a small amount of clothes should be hand-washed. The detergent should be placed in an appropriate amount to avoid multiple rinsing;

5. Monitor the water waste that occurs around you, supervise each other, and jointly protect and utilize water resources.

Water conservation is not just a familiar slogan; cherishing water resources is not just a poster to tighten the faucet. Let us start from the earth, start from me, develop good water habits in daily life, implement the scientific development concept with practical actions, save water resources, and fulfill our responsibility for creating a conservation-oriented campus. A harmonious, civilized, and scientific campus culture contributes.
