His former residence in Zhongnanhai is simply a book, a bookcase on a bedroom, a desk, a dining table, a coffee table, and books everywhere. The bed is occupied by a book, except for a person lying down.

In order to study, Chairman Mao used all the time available. In the few minutes before you swim into the water, you sometimes have to read a few celebrity poems. After swimming, if I didn't take a break, I picked up the book again. In a few minutes of going to the toilet, he never wasted. A re-engrave of the Song Dynasty's "Xiaoming Selected Works" and other books and periodicals in the Song Dynasty is to use this time, look at it today, look at it tomorrow, and watch it intermittently.

Chairman Mao went out to a meeting or inspect work, often with a box of books. On the way, the train was turbulent and bumpy. He completely ignored it. Study hard and read it over and over again

Chairman Mao has always opposed the kind of reading methods that are only quick and not effective. When he read "The Complete Works of Han Changli's Poetry", except for a few chapters, he carefully studied and carefully studied the vocabulary, sentence reading, chapters and the meaning of the full text. Through repeated reading and reading, most of Han Ji's poems can be fluently recited. "Journey to the West", "Dream of Red Mansions", "Water Margin", "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and other novels, he saw it from the time of the country, and revisited it in the 1960s. There are almost ten different versions of "Dream of Red Mansions" he has seen. A "Zhaoming Selected Works", he read at school, read in the 1950s, read in the 1960s, and read several times in the 1970s. There are three versions of his endorsement.

Some Marxist-Leninist, philosophical books, he repeatedly read more times. He read the History of the Communist Party and Li Da’s Sociology Outline. He has repeatedly studied the Communist Manifesto, Capital, and Lenin's Selected Works. Many chapters and paragraphs have also been annotated and sketched.

Do not read the pen and do not read the book

For decades, every time Chairman Mao read a book and an article, he put all kinds of symbols in circles, bars, points, etc. in important places, and wrote many comments in the book and blank spaces. Some also extract the books, the finest places in the text or write down the notes or feel at any time. Many of the books that Chairman Mao has collected are Zhu Mo's confession, criticism, circle, and full of books. Straight lines, curves, double lines, three lines, double circles, three circles, triangles, forks and other symbols abound.

Read everything

Chairman Mao’s interest in reading is extensive, and he has read everything from social sciences such as philosophy, politics, economics, history, literature, and military to some natural science books.
