I used to be a self-righteous, self-proclaimed little boy. When I was in class, I used to be half-hearted and old, doing small tricks, often being criticized by teachers, and I paid a heavy price for it...

I remember that in a final exam in the fourth grade, my grades plummeted. After getting the transcript, I couldn’t lift my head and I was so depressed. I seem to see the disappointment of my father and mother, and I heard the teacher’s harsh criticism. At this moment, my mood is unspeakable. After returning home, I dare not come up with a transcript, and even dare not hand over the transcript to my father and mother. I really want to tear off this odious transcript. I did not expect that I escaped the first day and could not escape fifteen. Just when I was asleep, Mom and Dad came to me and held my transcript in my hand. When I am finished, my mom and dad will be maddened, and I will be furious with me... However, it is counterproductive. What I did not expect is that Mom and Dad only gently said, "You want to cheer," and then left.

After taking a look at the transcript, I looked at it unscathed, and then looked at the back. A few lines of dazzling characters came into my eyes: "There is no difficulty in the world, I am afraid of having a heart; failure does not matter, I am afraid that there is no confidence. Success requires a price!" It seems to read the expectations of Mom and Dad. Since then, I secretly made up my mind and vowed to "pull" the results. So, in the summer vacation, I read a lot of famous books and did a lot of math problems.
