Cherish

"The most precious thing in the world is 'this', and the most easily lost is 'now'." This is a famous saying by the revolutionary pioneer Li Dazhao, and it is my favorite motto.

I remember that the German dramatist Schiller once said: "There are three kinds of paces: the future is late, now it flies like an arrow, and the past is always standing still." This sentence portrays the characteristics of "this" that are easily lost. How vivid and profound! If a person indulges in the past, relishes the "glorious performance" of the past, or cherishes the misfortunes of the past, then "this" will return to his boastful or sigh "arrows fly away." Others have dreamed of a happy life, but they are not willing to pay hard work, but they lament their sorrows and say that we are not born in 2000. As everyone knows, when he looks forward to the future and laments the present, "this" has become a thing of the past.

It is precisely because "this" is the most vulnerable, so "this" is especially valuable. Isn't human life made up of bit by bit "now"? When we young people want to cherish life, we must cherish the lost today. Only by grasping today can we create a happy tomorrow. Throughout the ages, how many people of insight have grasped the precious "this" and prevented it from being wasted. Why can Mr. Lu Xun write down millions of words in his life? It is because he has firmly grasped "this" and used the day as two days. The great inventor Edison has thousands of inventions and creations. If he does not hold "this" tightly, is there such a huge achievement? It turns out that whoever seized "this" is the master of time!

Now whenever I want to drag things to tomorrow, this maxim sounds in my ear, it inspires me and urges me to finish the day.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Let us all together, grasp the easy today, start from now, and work together to create a beautiful and happy tomorrow.
