Choose Yiyou

Choose a friend who is good for ourselves, we will get a pure friendship; and choose a friend who is harmful to ourselves, we will lose a lot of things.

Yiyou refers to honest friends, honest friends, and knowledgeable friends. Such a friend can point out your shortcomings, so you can get rid of a lot of problems. Because of the integrity of his friends, he can take you to do a lot of meaningful things. You can not only help others, but also cultivate your own character. Communicating with friends can make you feel good and honest. Connecting with honest friends will make you feel good and honest. With honest friends, don't worry that they will deceive you. By interacting with well-informed friends, we can indirectly complement each other from friends and enrich their connotations and accomplishments.

Since ancient times, there have been many people who are upright and righteous. In Shi Shuo Xin Yu, there is a story about the Yi Shi Jubo in the Eastern Han Dynasty:

In the time of crisis, Yan Jubo refused to abandon his friends and steal their own lives. Such friendship can be said to be "the birth of life and death." Later generations therefore had the allusion of "Jubo Gaoyi".

A friend is a person who is flattering and welcoming, a person who is flattering and behind him, and a person who is good at rhetoric. When we make friends with such people, we will only ruin our character and violate our own conscience.

Zeng Guofan even said: "The success or failure of a friendship relationship can not be inadvertent!" In The Analects, Confucius also talked about the topic of making friends many times. As the saying goes: "The near Zhu is red, the near ink is black." This is exactly what we want to identify friends and friends.

The topic of making friends has never been counted since ancient times. The ancients must have the same thoughts as us. Otherwise, how can Confucius say: "Three friends of benefit, three friends of loss, friendship, friendship, friendliness, benefit矣.
