Finding something you want to do, this thing will make you a little discomfort, but when you do it, you will gain a lot. For example, fitness.
You can break this down into 1000 separate events, making sure that each event is within the level of discomfort you can tolerate. You can test the maximum tolerance you have tried to do, and then subtract 20% from this value. For example, I want to do 10,000 pull-ups, then divide it into 1000 copies, which is 10 each time.
Start doing it, and don't force yourself to challenge it as a pleasure. For example, I made 10 today, so there are 999 copies left. In the days to come, I can do whatever I want, anytime, anywhere. As long as I complete these 1,000 events, my goal is achieved.
As your abilities increase, you gradually increase your weight. For example, after one month, you can do 15 and after 3 months, you can do 25. Therefore, 10,000 seem to take 1000 days to complete, in fact, you may be able to get it in 9 months.
The essence of this method is to break down a lot of pain into 1000 small discomforts, then integrate it into everyday life, cultivate into habits, and transform discomfort into comfort.

1. The habit of procrastination. The main reason why we have to delay is that what we are doing makes us feel uncomfortable.
